one thing i think floyd would do is tickle you mercilessly in fast, rough movements. and then immediately switch up to soft, gentle tickles.

picture this, he's got you pinned to the couch, floor, bed; wherever is most convenient and straddles your hips to dig into your ribs and squeeze your sides over and over. your cackling into the sheets/carpet shoving at his hands uselessly because he's been at this for at least ten minutes and is not tired; teasing into your ear whenever he hears you squeak or giggle.

"awh, lookit you squirm~ BWAHHA- look at your face! this must suck for you huh?"

and his fingers squeeze the softest part of your waist, a sly grin on his face.

next thing you know, you felt soft scribbling across your tummy and ribs. the sensation for only a few moments ago changed in a blink of an eye but his smile stayed the same.

you think he's stopping, but he just eased up, you're still giggling at the ghost tickles and he leans closer to your face. you were breathless, unable to move.

"you' tired?"

you nod lazily, voice rasp and breath heavy.

his lips tickle your face as he kisses you; but you don't push him away. you love him too much.

Mean ler!Ryland Grace uses you as a teaching moment. Very very tummy focused I was in a mood.

This is it for you. You’re sure of it. It won’t be the end of the mission that kills you, or an alien, or even just natural causes if you do manage to make it back home. It will be Dr. Ryland Grace. A man who, up to this very point, you had considered your friend.

You don’t remember how you even ended up in this position, pinned down on the floor in the lab, or why you ended up in this position in the first place! Usually, it can be accredited to a smart-ass remark you let slip before you could catch yourself, or an eye roll that was much more noticeable than you meant for it be. This time, you’re pretty sure he’s just tormenting you because he feels like it.

Somehow, he’s managed to pin you flat on your spine, and his back is turned as he sits beside you, partially leaned across your chest. All you can do is push at his back and shoulders while he kneads all around your belly and sides, occasionally trailing down just a bit to slot his thumbs into the dips of your hips and squeeze.

He had made a big show of ever so slowly pulling your shirt up just below your ribs, and then reaching down to pull the waistband of your pajama bottoms down just far enough to expose your hips and lower belly before he got started- which seems like forever ago to you right now.

Not that you’ve really been able to keep track of the time, but you’ve taken several minutes of this already, with a couple of small “breaks” that consisted of him lightly trailing his fingertips over your flushed skin.

What had been threats and swears have since turned into nearly incoherent pleading and pitiful giggles. He’s talking. You know he is, he has been this entire time— teasing you when you let out a particularly cute noise, or commenting on how adorable it is that you’re kicking and squirming like it’s actually going to help somehow— but you can’t hear him over yourself. What little you can hear doesn’t register.

The only thing you’re absolutely sure of right now is that he doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon.

It wouldn’t be the first time he’s done this to you— just held you down and played with you until he decides he’s done. He has, on several occasions, told you that he’s pretty sure they just sent you up here as his stress toy- only jokingly of course, though it being a joke doesn’t stop it from flustering you beyond belief.

This time around though, he doesn’t account for visitors, and when he brings his hands to the center of your belly, one clawing at the plush spot below your navel while the other spiders above it, the shrill squeal it draws out evidently catches the attention of a concerned bystander.

You don’t hear the rumbling noise of Rocky’s ball rolling towards the two of you, and you don’t register his voice when he starts squawking at Ryland about your predicament. Everything is fuzzy, and you shudder as you try to blink through the brain fog.

It takes you several seconds to realize that you can breathe, and you seemingly have a moment of reprieve as Ryland tries to calm Rocky down.

When you do manage to get your bearings, you see Rocky shifting from leg to leg and waving his arms wildly at Ryland before he notices that you’re alert, and he very quickly rolls his way beside your head.

“Friend okay, question?”, he asks, his voice high pitched as he taps on his ball, “Breathing okay, question?”. He rattles off several other questions but all you can manage out is a weak “uh huh” and a thumbs up as your chest heaves.

“See, Rock?”, Ryland starts, “They’re perfectly fine. I told you they’re not dying.”

You would have objected to that if you weren’t still in such a compromising position.

“Everything’s okay. It’s just tickling.”

You huff, bringing your hands up to cover your red face as Rocky lets out an inquisitive chirp and rolls back over to Grace.

“Tickling, question?”, he murmurs. You groan, "Rocky please-"

Ryland sighs, waving you and nodding at the alien. He should have known Rocky wouldn’t really know what it is. Even if they have something similar on Erid, it almost definitely would look much different for them.

“Yes, tickling. Think of it like… like- uh, playing, I guess. Most humans are ticklish, which means parts of their body are sensitive to touch— particularly areas that cover vital organs, or spots that aren’t typically exposed to touch.”

“Hmmm…”, Rocky hums, “Why?”

There’s a pause, save for the muffled sound of you grumbling at Ryland to "please stop talking".

“Well, um, I guess it’s like a defense mechanism. To protect those spots. When you touch them in certain ways- like squeezing or poking, that’s what we call tickling, and it makes humans laugh”, he glances back at you, the corner of his lip tilting upwards ever so slightly before he looks back at Rocky, “Or in some cases, squeal. Or beg.”

You turn your head, refusing to look at Ryland out of pettiness and also the sake of your own dignity. Actually, it’s primarily for the sake of your own dignity.! Rocky seems to understand, as well as he can at least, and the brief silence that hangs in the air makes your stomach twist before the both of them speak at the same time. "Show Rocky." "Would you like a demonstration?" You knew it was coming, and still your breath hitches as you twist in Ryland's grip, but you're just as stuck as you were before. The noise you let out can only be described as a whimper, but it's immediately interrupted by a loud squeal when you feel his fingertips trail gently up and down the sides of your belly. "Nononono, Ryland, please-!", you babble out, trying to pull your knees to your chest in a desperate attempt to protect yourself, but you're ignored as Grace pushes them right back down and starts to explain your reaction to Rocky. "Usually, they wouldn't react like that right away, but the longer you tickle someone, the more sensitive those spots get. You can't see this, but this skin right here is already really red." Rocky bounces up and down a bit, paying close attention to Grace's hands, "Red. Why red, question?" You tremble when his hands trail further up, closer to your ribs, just to trail all the way down to your hips. You're in a constant fit of giggles. You know it’s only going to get worse, and the anticipation is driving you mad, but you can tolerate this much better than what he was putting you through just a few minutes ago. "Two reasons, actually. Humans turn red when they're flustered but the tickling itself stimulates blood flow, especially if I were to be just a little bit meaner," your eyes widen, and you shake your head, "like this". You try to arch your back when light tracing turns to quick clawing, but he has a firm hold on you. "You hear that?", he asks when bubbly giggles turn to desperate laughter. "That's because there are different ways to tickle people. Different spots and methods get different reactions." He brings his hands down, squeezing rapidly at your hipbones before he squeezes all the way up your sides to your ribs, and then back down again. You kick uselessly, shaking your head and pleading through cackles, which only encourages him. Rocky can't help but feel just a little bad for you as he rolls over to watch you a little more closely, "Why telling Grace to stop if it's just play, question?" "Because I don't like it!", you whine. You can see Ryland's shoulders shake a bit as he laughs at that. Rocky perks up, slightly concerned as he rolls back over to look at your captor, who speaks before Rocky has a chance to voice his worries. "They're a liar." The way he says it so matter-of-factly would be insulting if it wasn't true. "Most people don't like being tickled. It doesn't really feel... good", he circles his nails around your navel while the other claws at your lower belly. "Think about if you had a really bad itch, and you can't scratch it, and the longer you go without scratching it, the more intense it gets. And maybe it starts in one spot, but it can spread all over your body, and you can't do anything to stop it. That's what tickling feels like." Rocky shifts left to right at the description of it, and it only makes him feel a little worse for you in that moment. "Your friend over here, though...", Ryland starts, and you're so glad you can't see his face because you can hear the shit-eating grin in his voice. "Well, they love it. They will absolutely never, ever admit that for two reasons. One, they're all embarrassed about it because they think it's weird, blah blah blah", he rolls his eyes. "Two, I would literally never let them live that down, like ever." "Hmm," Rocky hums before letting out a soft trill, "Why ask Grace to stop if they like it, question?" You so desperately want to tell Rocky to please stop asking questions, but you're certain that's much too long of a sentence to get out coherently, and you’re far past the point of intelligible speech.

Grace is thrilled. He gets to do his two very favorite things: bestow knowledge upon an eager to learn mind, and tickle you out of yours.

“Well, it’s an instinct, and human instincts can be weird. Tickling is a really overwhelming sensation, even for someone who likes it. So, they’ll try to make it stop— or, beg for it to stop if they’re otherwise incapacitated.”

As if on queue, you let out a weak, pitiful “please” when he vibrates five fingers in the very center of your belly.

“See, I’m being very, very nice. No matter how much they beg, or squirm, or ask me so very nicely to stop, I know they don’t really wanna get away. Isn’t that right?”.

You can tell from the tone switch the last bit was meant for you— probably the first bit too— but you’re confident that he’s very aware you were not listening. You take a deep, greedy breath when tickling fingertips turn to a firm palm, rubbing soothingly against your skin.

At first, you don’t respond, but, you nod at him when he shifts to face you, still leaned over you with his head propped on your sternum. You have no idea what he was asking you. You don’t really care either. All you can focus on is catching your breath and behaving as well as you possibly can, even as you eye Ryland wearily.

Not that your “behavior” has ever swayed him to be nice.

Rocky rolls around to the two of you, idling at your head. You glance up at him for just a moment, a small smile still on playing at your lips as your breath finally evens out. You hadn’t noticed you were still giggling, and fortunately, neither of them comment on it.

“You got any other questions, bud?”, Grace asks Rocky, but his eyes are on you, and his tone is notably softer.

You’re so relieved it’s over. You can finally let your guard down, relax, and just let Grace take care of you.

And then, Rocky lets out a small chirp, just as you close your eyes and let your head lull to the side.

“Grace said other spots are ticklish too, question?”

Your eyes widen instantly, only for you to be met with the devious grin growing on Ryland’s face.

You should have known Rocky would have more questions, and Ryland definitely wouldn’t pass up the opportunity to torment you in the name of education.

You whimper, giving him an absolutely pitiful little look, but before you can protest, he’s already positioned above your head, pulling your arms up and pinning them under his legs.

“Rocky, bud, I know I’ve already said this but I think you and I are going to get along perfectly.”

Woody Pride headcanons⭐️

(Prideyear involved. Sorry not sorry)

•Switch, but more of a lee than a ler

•I say this because in tickle fights, he’s often the loser (especially against Buzz. There’s not a tickle fight between those two he’s actually won lol)

•(it’s already canon that he’s ticklish, especially around his ribs/underarms)

•Other places he’s ticklish involve his stomach, back (especially near his pull-string. Although that’s not a place EVERYONE can tickle), and a little bit on the back of his knees

•Woody can be sensitive about being pulled on by his back string by other toys. Buzz really is the only one allowed and Woody feel 100% comfortable about it.

•When being tickled, Woody can be pretty loud; as he is pretty ticklish. Although there are a couple of spots that if you gently tickle, it’ll just have him giggling relaxingly.

•As a ler, Woody can be playful and teasing about it or a straight-up menace (depending on his mood)

• Will definitely use his cowboy/ sheriff persona as a ler

• “C’mon, partner, let’s hear those giggles.”

• “There they are! I was starting to think you lost your voice during playtime.”

• “As the sheriff, criminal, your punishment is tickles til next playtime!”

• Buzz is the main toy he’ll have tickle fights with, Jessie and Bullseye are second place for it.

• With Jessie and Bullseye, they’re more playful with a sibling-like dynamic

• Ler. Without a doubt

• I say this because of his armor / material he’s made out of, he nearly isn’t ticklish at all.

• Although I do headcanon that his neck is at least a little ticklish.

• Another part of him I headcanon to be ticklish is the black bending of his waist. Nothing that will get him screaming with laughter, but enough to make him smile, grin, and even giggle a little bit.

• Buzz actually didn’t understand the concept of tickling until he found out Woody was ticklish during the incidents of Toy Story 2

• Jessie, Bullseye, and Woody were talking about “Woody’s Roundup” and Jessie teasingly brought up Woody’s own ticklishness before the chaos ensued

• Originally, Buzz actually thought Woody was yelling in pain and was genuinely getting attacked by Bullseye and Jessie. His protective side kicked in and after getting the two off Woody (again, thinking he was actually being hurt), Woody had to reassure Buzz that he was fine

• “But, you were yelling? I thought they were pulling your stuffing out.” “Yes, I was kind of yelling, Buzz, but I was laughing! I guess you hadn’t gotten a chance to know this yet, but…I’m ticklish, okay?” *confused* “…I don’t follow. What does that mean?”

• Ohoho, Jessie and Bullseye had a blast explaining to Buzz (by that, I mean Woody getting a whole new wave of a tickle attack from the two)

• Buzz was still slightly surprised by it, but found the gesture fun and silly

• He’ll experiment with a few pokes to not just discover another toys ticklishness, but also to see if they even like it in the first place

• As stated before, he mostly has tickle fights with Woody (because they’re fights he’ll know he’ll win lol)

• Additionally, he enjoys making Woody (and the rest of his friends in general) laugh since he sometimes isn’t the best with words

Prideyear headcanons⭐️❤️🚀

• Said it before: Buzz is always the winner of their tickle fights

• Woody never stood a chance lol

• And honestly? He’s fine with that

• Buzz will sometimes use tickles as a way to help Woody calm down when he sees the cowboy stressing / overthinking / overworking himself again

• Woody doesn’t mind, and enjoys the closeness with Buzz. Yes, tickle fights with their other friends are one thing. But it’s different with the toy he loves.

• Just because Buzz isn’t as ticklish and can easily overpower Woody, doesn’t mean Buzz doesn’t let Woody have his own fun during their tickle fights

• As mentioned before, Buzz is a little ticklish on the black bends of his waist, and Woody will simply wrap his arms around him and tickle him there.

• Buzz allows Woody to do it; he also enjoys getting to smile and giggle

-oh boy, but if you are reacting strongly to her teases, SHE WILL BE SO MUCH MORE MEANER AND WILL TICKLE TEASE YOU TO DEATH

-if you pissed her off, oh boy be prepared, she definitely targeting your weakest spot yet

-That day, Zooble comforted Gangle, telling her she wasn’t a freak and that their friendship wouldn’t change because of it

-Ragatha gets flustered when someone is tickling (touch is her love language)

-sometimes gets worried if she makes her ler uncomfortable (such a people pleaser my god 😭)

-kinda likes getting tickled only because it makes her happy that someone cares for her enough to make her laugh 🥲

-terrified of Jax if he’s the ler

-her favourite ler gots to be Kinger, she trusts him the most

-the easiest way to fluster her is to compliment anything about her (she’s a little insecure)

-instead of teasing her lee, she compliments them instead, like how lovely their laughter is and how cute their faces look

-it’s unintentional, but her teases always makes you blush and melt

-sometimes she gets worried if she makes the lee uncomfortable by tickling them (she is so self conscious lol)

-she likes tickling others to cheer them up if they’re sad!

-Ragatha is actually pretty strong, so it’s easy for her to pin you down

-if she’s feeling vicious enough, she would tickle Jax back and oh boy she will not be nice

-After tickling, she is guaranteed to comfort you, like getting you a glass of water or a blanket

💜 Kinger ♟️

-Kinger is a ler!!

-sorry, personally I don’t see him as ticklish 🥲

LER:

-Kinger is such a dad of course he would tickle cheer up you

- he’s teases are very playful for example, “your the squirmiest bug in my collection!” Or “uh oh, here comes to tickle spider! In 3…2…1!” And spiders all over your tummy

-if he’s ever teasing you, it’ll probably be a reference to bugs

-Kinger is such a gentle ler

-he won’t push you to your limits unless you ask him too (if your happy, he’s happy :3)

-after he’s done tickling you, he always invites you inside of his pillow fort for a much needed nap

-back in the days, he always tickled Queenie, he just loved hearing her laugh it makes him smile

🎩 Caine 🦷

-Caine is a chaos switch

LEE:

-the first time he gotten tickled must’ve been the most weirdest experience he ever felt

-like what do you mean when he gets poked in different spot he felts a big jolt of electricity throughout he’s whole body???

-after a while though, he came to like the feeling

-the most quiet Caine can get is when he needs to ask for tickles (he stammers a lot)

-a lot of times he tickles you so much to your limits and he won’t stop

-loudest laughter ever, prepare for your ears to bleed and blast off if your hear him when he’s getting tickled

-sometimes, Bubble tickles him, most of the time is unintentional though

-sometimes when Caine gets tickled, he teleports out of no where accidentally. And my god he gets very flustered when he goes back and asks you to continue

-if he gets tickled so badly to his limit, he will glitch out for a few minutes, it’s kinda funny too see

-falls for the stupidest tricks ever, “DOHOHON’T!!” “Don’t do what, Caine?” “TICKLE ME!!!”

-worst spot are his sides, especially if you poke them when he’s caught off guard, he will glitch or teleport by accident

-sometimes glitches can be heard in his laugh, it’s super adorable to hear

LER:

-if Caine’s gonna tickle you, all I can say is good luck my friend

-he loves being ler, he just loves being all playful with the other humans!

Date Everything Tickle Headcanons!

My first headcanons on the blog! 👀 Date Everything has been taking over my mind lately and my brain is cooking up ideas as I play, so what better way to share some of those ideas with headcanons! These are very biased towards Johnny Splash even though Chance is my honorary husband, but I need to see my silly singing shower be given the sillies.

Here are headcanons for Johnny Splash, Cabrizzio, Chance, Dorian, and Maggie!

Johnny Splash:

He’s like the annoying little brother of the house. Others don’t like his singing, but his laughter? Well, that’s universally agreed to be music to their ears. They’ll tell him to stop singing, Johnny disagrees and says he needs to practice, so the next best option is to tickle him until he’s too exhausted to sing for the rest of the day, or until he surrenders.

One would think that with the amount of times it’s happened, Johnny would know that everyone resorts to tickling him, but somehow it takes him by surprise every time.

He tries to shout frantic warnings with some of his many similes, but it just backfires and works against him. - “If you tickle me, I’ll be squirmin’ like a soggy dog shakin’ its tail after it's been way too close to a fire!” *Johnny realizes that saying that just makes them want to tickle him more.* “I- I mean, wait! Don’t think about that!”

He has giggles that are bouncy and fluctuate in pitch. They start off all squeaky, but the longer he’s tickled, the deeper and louder his laughter will get, and his laughter can definitely reach full belly laughs. When he knows he’s loud, he’ll blush and try to hide his face in his shoulders.

Johnny is very squirmy, just like he warned. He’s like a cat trying to wriggle out of being given a bath. He flails his limbs around and takes a defensive route more than an offensive one. 

He’s ticklish just about everywhere, but the upper part of his ribs are extra ticklish. Unfortunately for him, a lot of the objects around the house know this.

Jean Loo takes advantage of it all of the time (I see them with sibling energy lol). If Johnny tries to run, Jean Loo will easily scoop him up in his arms and lift Johnny off the ground, all while Johnny wiggles and giggles from Jean Loo tickling his ribs and sides. The “worst” part is, Jean Loo sometimes announces to the whole house that he caught Johnny:  - Jean Loo: “Come look at zis everyone! Our very own shower is gracing us with a performance!”

After he’s served his “punishment,” Johnny usually pouts and gets all flustered after, but there’s a little part of him that enjoys the fun that comes out of it.

On occasion, he’ll fight back if he thinks he has a chance. If he gets the opportunity, he'll pounce at his opponent and try to get in as many ticklish hits as he can before he’s taken down, grinning the whole time as he enacts his revenge. Most of the time though, he doesn’t get the chance to fight back, or his upper hand doesn’t last long. The man knows he’s too ticklish for his own good.

With his romantic partner, however, he loves to snuggle, nuzzle, and rub his head into his partner’s neck like a cat to tickle them. He actually loves soft tickles himself, and the light touches when his partner plays with his curls. He’s also a fan of cheer up tickles, especially the gentle ones when his partner is just getting him to giggle and smile, or if he’s getting them to smile.

As a ler, he’s full of teases. To his friends, he’ll gloat about being able to take the advantage: - “Seems I was too strong for you to handle, huh?” - “Looks like this here jackrabbit is too quick for you!” 

To his romantic partner though, he’ll purposely sweet talk them with “Darlin’” while teasing them: - “What’s the matter, darlin’? You’re wigglin’ like a snake on the dance floor caught with the spotlight on ‘em.”

Cabrizzio:

LEE LEE LEE LEE. After his CANON line of “I always loved this phrase, tickled… I giggle and twist in the warm light of your interest,” this man will never beat the lee allegations. He loves it because it makes people smile, laugh, and feel joy—three things that he deeply cares about.

He’s most ticklish around his ribs and back, but other spots like his belly, sides, and neck get good reactions out of him too.

His favorites are gentle tickles and cuddly tickles.

Sometimes, if his romantic partner is tickling him, he'll grab one of their hands as if he was defending himself, but he’ll lace his fingers with theirs and hold their hand as he giggles away, melting like gelato on a hot sunny day.

His touch is very soft when providing tickles to his romantic interest. He just wants to see them smile and giggle to their heart’s content. If he’s distracted by soaking in how lovely and beautiful his partner is though, he can be easily taken off guard with a few squeezes to his sides.

👏Tickly kisses 👏 Once he finds out that his stubble can be a tickly weapon, he will use it. That is, again, unless he gets tickled in the process, causing him to freely giggle into the crook of his partner’s neck.

It’s hard not to smile when hearing his laugh. It’s bright and bubbly, with little instances of wheezes and squeakiness here and there.

He’s one to compliment someone when he’s tickling them, especially his romantic partner. - “Your smile is lovely, Amore.” - “Your laugh, it is an honor to be listening to it’s wonderful song. I could bask in it all day like the most beautiful sunrise.” 

Of course, he calls his romantic partner, “Amore,” but he’ll get butterflies and a blush will spread across his cheeks if his partner uses his own words against him while he’s being tickled.

Cabrizzio: “Amohohohore!” Player: “Oh, more? Of course, Cabrizzio. I thought you’d never ask.” *Cabrizzio keeps giggling in a flustered loss for words*

On rare occasions, he’ll get into one sided tickle fights with his friends, mostly Daisuke. Usually, Cabrizzio will poke him to see him smile, or tickle him to cheer him up if Daisuke is feeling down. Or, Cabrizzio will be teasing him about the placement of his dishware (or even his love life), and Daisuke will ‘teach him a lesson.’ Cabrizzio will be giggling on the floor in seconds.

Chance:

So, so giggly. Even before he’s tickled. The anticipation itself makes him laugh. He’ll flush and be stunned by the mere mention of it if it’s targeted towards him.

His tummy is his most ticklish spot, but his entire torso is pretty ticklish.

He loves being types of “monsters” with his romantic partners, which is when he throws his arms out to the side of his head and curls his fingers into claws to act like a beast shouting out a roar. His voice goes a little deeper to match the role. And, of course, he does the tickle monster too. - “Look out! Here comes the cuddle monster!” - “This hug monster wants a hug!”

When he’s playing his “monster” role, he looms over his lover to be silly, but a quick scribble to his ribs each time sends his arms crashing to his sides and curling them close to himself. Sometimes when he does his “monster roar,” it’s almost like he’s asking for those quick tickle moments. He thinks it’s cute that his partner “defeats” his monster by tickling him, and he knows it makes them happy.

Chance is someone who curls himself up when he’s tickled. He’ll compact himself to leave less ticklish surface area, like scrunching his shoulders to his neck, bending his knees to his chest and curling his core forward like he’s doing a sit up. While rolling himself into a ball, he playfully bats at the hands that are tickling him.

His laugh is like an unstoppable stream of giggles and giddiness that pour from his mouth, but they’re always full of joy and bright energy that’s infectious. If Chance is tickled, there’s a high chance (haha, see what I did there?) that anyone around him will be chuckling with him too.

He plays along with any G&G related teases that are thrown his way. He’ll keep it going like an adventure in a one-shot (for as long as he can handle being tickled), if the one tickling him is also continuing the story. 

Player: “And then the dragon pounces onto the warrior and uses its claws to tickle him!” Chance: “AH! A critical hihihit!!!” Player: “The dragon takes another swipe, this time at the warrior’s belly!” Chance: EEK! I use-hehehe my armor to curl into a bahahahall!”

When it’s Chance’s turn to throw the teases, he doesn’t hold back. His storyteller voice will make an appearance. He may occasionally break character in order to admire the joy emanating from his partner: - “The warrior, free from the clutches of the dragon, strikes with his mighty fingers to scribble into the dragon’s sides! The dragon shrieks as the ticklishness pulses through their scales, giggling helplessly, but also very happily, in the warrior’s clutches. And may I just say that those giggles are just the cutest?”

His tickles are more playful, like adding squeezes and a bit of pressure to his wiggling fingers, but he always makes sure that he’s gentle enough for who he’s tickling.

He enjoys initiating tickle fights with his romantic partner. With friends though, he’s not the one who usually initiates it, except with Parker; that’s usually when Parker or Chance are making a game out of challenging one another and they both end up in a tickle-filled tussle.

Dorian:

There’s a moment in the game when he says, “If my arms are crossed, that means you’re not getting through.” You know what that means? 😏 That’s right! Tickle him so he opens up!

The game says his laugh is “like a robot attempting to imitate laughter,” so he has pauses in-between his laughs. They’re hardy belly laughs of “Ha ha ha”s strung together, that also pick up a little in speed if he’s being tickled.

He’s not the ticklish out of all the objects in the house, but still ticklish enough to where some big laughs can spill out of him.

He’s most ticklish around the sides of his body—all the way from the sides of his feet, to the sides of his torso, underarms, and to his ears—like the hinges of a door.

He’s the type to act tough at first; he’ll hold in his laughter, unmoving, and pretend he’s not ticklish (even if someone already knows he’s ticklish), and he can hold his own for a while, but subtle twitches from unexpected pokes and his quivering smile will show that it’s working. He’ll only let his friends or his romantic partner the chance to even try and see this side of him though.

It’s hard to take him by surprise since he’s always on the lookout for any signs of trouble, but it’s not impossible. Usually, a group of his friends working together can get him to drop his guard just enough to sneak attack him.

Once a sneak attack hits, it’s hard for Dorian to hold in his laughter. Honestly, he probably lets it out right away as a reward for his friends for taking him off guard.

He doubles over when he’s tickled and wraps his arms around his stomach as he laughs. He’s usually strong enough to stay on his feet and twist away from the tickles, but if he’s sent crashing to the floor, and or his friends are piled on top of him, he’s down for the count and will giggle there until he surrenders or calls for a truce.

If he’s the one tickling though, run. This man takes no prisoners. He’ll be gentle though, of course, but he’ll also teach someone a lesson. - “Aww, what’s the matter? Is someone a little ticklish?” - “Where do you think you’re going? You’re not getting through me.”

For instance, Maggie and Skylar wanted to find out if Dorian was ticklish. It led to them both on the floor losing a 2 versus 1 tickle fight. They got their answer though, at least.

Dorian doesn’t initiate any tickle fights, really, but he’ll definitely continue one if they come after him first.

With his romantic partner, he acts pretty much the same, except that he’ll drop his guard a little more around them and allow them to hear his laugh freely instead of him trying to hold it in.

Maggie:

She’s more of a partner in crime than someone who would actually be the one tickling. She would rather be a bystander to the chaos involved, and throw out little pointers here and there to assist. Maggie has heard all sorts of hints and talk around the house about who’s ticklish and where they’re ticklish that she can bring to the table:  - “You know, I’ve heard from Jean Loo that Johnny is super ticklish on his ribs. Try there!” - “I don’t have any evidence other than rumors, but I’ve heard from Daisuke that Cabrizzio is secretly ticklish!” - “Hmm, interesting… There was definitely a higher influx of laughter when you tickled Dorian’s sides! Keep aiming for that spot!”

She usually only tickles someone if one of two things happens— 1) She’s trying to gather the truth from one of her friends, and she uses tickling as a method of persuasion. 2) She decides to team up with another person, or multiple objects, if it looks like everyone is having fun and she wants to join in on that fun.

When she’s tickling someone, she speaks about her observations out loud, inadvertently teasing them. Sometimes she exaggerates her observations to tease them on purpose. - “My goodness! I did not expect you to have such a ticklish belly.” - “These ribs are extremely ticklish! How do you function?” - “Your shoulders moving to your ears indicates that your neck is ticklish!” 

Her go-to method of tickling is skittering her fingers, so she’s speedy and is always jumping to different spots, making her hands hard to catch.

She’s great at spotting when someone is lying, so she’s great at spotting when someone’s lying about being ticklish, or trying to hide their ticklishness. She’ll call them out on their lies. - “If you weren’t ticklish, then your eyes wouldn’t be shifting to the left every time I ask you!” - “I see a wobbly smile on your face, don’t deny it!”

When she’s tickled though, she’s adorably squeaky, like the cartoon-ish squeak a towel makes when it’s cleaning off glass. She’ll kick out her legs and ball up both of her fists to cover her mouth, or slap her hands to her mouth, as she giggles through her fingers. If she’s wearing her hat, she will pull her hat down to hide her face, but her smile and the blush on her cheeks can still be seen from under her hat. 

A few snorts will be mixed in with her laughter, and if she’s not blushing or covering her face by then, then she definitely will after she knows she let out a snort. She covers her face after a snort more like a reflex rather than being embarrassed by it.

She’s the most ticklish on her underarms, but the back of her knees are a close second.

When she’s tickled by her romantic partner, she’ll hide her face less, allowing them to see her smile and her blush as red as her hair. 

When tickling her romantic partner, she’ll admire them and their laughter. She’ll tease them a bit, but she’ll be more smitten by how adorable they are that she'll be cooing sweetly at them most of the time. Sometimes all she says is “Aww…” as she smiles at them.

She loves bumping foreheads with her partner and being close to them. If she’s laughing, or her partner is laughing, touching their foreheads together allows them to share a laugh with one another, like they’re transferring their happiness from one person to the next.

Gachiakuta Tickle Headcanons

I genuinely love this show and think it's criminal there isn't more posts like these so I've decided to take it into my own hands. I try my best to stay in character as possible but I'm an anime-only with sporadic manga knowledge. That said, let's get started!

Team Akuta

Enjin: This man cannot take any amount of tickling, he will immediately crumple as soon as you go beyond poking and start laughing and swearing like crazy. He's also a big flailer, so if you don't have him pinned you better be on the lookout otherwise you might get kicked in the face.

Enjin usually doesn't initiate tickle fights because of how ridiculously ticklish he is but if you start it, you can be sure that he'll pay you back with interest once he gets the chance. He's mean when it comes to tickling, specifically targeting bad spots and teasing you about how you can't take what you dish out (he's a hypocrite).

He's pretty much ticklish all over but his worst spots are his sides, back, and neck. If you touch him anywhere there, he is gone. He dreaded getting Gob to draw spells on his back when he needed it because of how horribly ticklish it was to just sit there while the man painted on his back. He was also half-certain Gob purposely did the spell extra slowly just to watch Enjin squirm and struggle to muffle his laughter.

Despite all that, Enjin's pretty casual when it comes tickling. He doesn't have any specific preferences when it come this but he finds rough and gentle tickling equally ticklish. It's more of just an activity he does when playing around with the younger Cleaners rather than something he actively seeks out and he'd rather be the one doing the tickling rather than the one tickled.

Rudo: Rudo's the type of person who just bolts as soon as someone even mentions tickling because he knows exactly what's going to happen next. The only person who really tickled him when he was younger was Regto (who always liked hearing the hiccupy laugh Rudo has when tickled) and he was also too small to get Regto back so his first instinct is always to run. He gets super flustered when he can't and even more so if the person tickling him doesn't do it right away because anticipation genuinely kills him.

He's not overly familiar with tickling others, so he leans more to being on the receiving end of things when it comes to tickle fights. He's a menace once he gets comfortable tickling others back since he always goes straight for the worst spots so they can't tickle him back. He's got that youngest sibling mindset when it comes to tickling lol.

He's pretty much ticklish all over (to a lesser extent that Enjin) but his stomach, armpits, and the back of his knees will immediately have him screaming and cackling like a witch. Gris accidentally discovers this during one of their conversations and immediately took advantage of it the second that he could to cheer Rudo up. The sound of his laugh made the news spread like fire, especially among his team.

One form of tickling that Rudo is particularly fond of is back tickles, like the super gentle kind where the person is both rubbing your back and just barely tickling you. Regto used to do it when the pain in his hands got bad, rubbing comforting circles into his back when Rudo curled up next to him and occasionally tracing his fingers over Rudo's spine to get those quiet little giggles from him. So, Rudo prefers gentle tickling in general but he also doesn't mind rough tickling despite his extreme reactions to it. It's fun in its own way and he's willing to goad people into tickling him when he's in the mood for it (he will die of embarrassment if you call him out on it though)

Zanka: This kid will do just about anything to avoid admitting that he's ticklish. You could actively be tickling him to pieces and he'll still deny it through his laughter. He's one of those people that will curl up into a ball and roll around trying to get away from the sensations but it only makes things worse for him.

Zanka usually doesn't initiate tickle fights but he will definitely retaliate if you start it and he'll be all smug and nasty about it despite calling it childish like two seconds before. Tickling wasn't really a part of his life prior to the Cleaners, so he was never really used to being on the giving or receiving side of things. But since he has a big competitive streak, he sort of just treats every tickle fight like it's a battle of wills where whoever gives in first loses and Enjin and Riyo find it absolutely hilarious.

Luckily, he has the advantage of being the least ticklish on the team because he's only really ticklish on his hips, feet, and behind his ears. The downside is that those spots are bad. Start tickling him there and you'll have him wheezing and red in the face within a minute. Riyo likes blowing on his ears whenever she's bored and sitting behind him in the car because he lets out a high-pitched shriek that makes her laugh every time she hears it. He's not a fan.

Unsurprisingly, Zanka prefers tickling others over being tickled. He somehow always ends up in the latter position, so if he were to pick between rough and gentle tickling, he'd choose rough. Gentle feels like the person is going easy on him and it makes it less satisfying when he manages to get the upper hand.

Riyo: The resident menace of Team Akuta. Riyo initiates about 90% of tickle fights in the team, usually out of boredom or a simple desire to tease her friends but she usually does it in group settings so she can avoid retaliation. She's pretty ridiculously ticklish herself and can't take an ounce of what she dishes out but if you get your hands on her, get ready to cover your ears because she literally screams with laughter.

She leans more to the tickling side of things and she's usually pretty chill about it but the second you tickle her back, just know she'll get you back when you're least expecting it. And she'll be targeting all your worst spots until you're crying with laughter. She also likes to tease, which messes with Zanka and Rudo a lot because they're so easily flustered when it comes to tickling

In terms of ticklishness, Riyo's right behind Enjin on the scale, with her being ticklish all over. Her worst spots are her knees (back and front), back, and underarms. Get her in any of those places and she'll be down in seconds. When she was younger, Enjin used to do that egg cracking thing over her knees to get her giggling when she was in a mood and it drove her insane.

In general, Riyo prefers doing the tickling rather than being on the receiving end because the lack of control, especially if she isn't completely comfortable with that person, messes with her. She's okay with someone like Enjin or Zanka (and to a much lesser extent, Rudo because he's new) tickling her and in that situation, she does prefer the more gentle kind of tickling. She won't tickle anyone if they ask her not to (like Eishia) but she likes tickling because it's a fun way to mess with people and also get to know things about them.

Eishia: Eishia doesn't really strike me as the sort of person who would enjoy tickling outside of a very specific context because she's insecure about her laugh and just generally isn't super comfortable with it as a whole. She is okay with it when it come to August because he's her older brother and she's just kinda used to him messing with her at this point.

Between the two of them, August is the one who initiated tickle fights when they were younger. He's more ticklish than her but she's always too anxious to start the fights herself or get him back so she usually ends up on the receiving side of things. She has one of those laughs that make it sound like you're crying and August used to tease her about it a lot. Alice made him shut up about it eventually but it's part of the reason she's kinda insecure about her laugh.

Eishia's not especially ticklish, just generally ticklish everywhere with a couple odd spots like her palms and ankles. Riyo is the only one beside August that's tried to tickle her and she stopped as soon as Eishia expressed discomfort. Eishia also knows a lot of the Cleaner's ticklish spots because she takes care of them in the clinic and accidentally tickles them way too often. She's thought about taking advantage of that knowledge exactly once and that was when Follo was being a stubborn prick and refusing to rest when he had the flu but she's never done it before.

Overall, Eishia prefers staying out of the activity in general but if she had to pick, she'd prefer gentle tickling over the rough kind since the latter was what August always uses and gentle tickling sounded nicer.

I tried to be as realistic as possible with this and stay true to the characters so this was actually pretty hard. I'm going to do some of the other Cleaners and Supporters and maybe even the Raiders in the future.
