WEEK THREE of SHRIMP METHOD MONDAY 🦐🦐🦐
This week, I used the Shrimp Method to try and draw better Moray Eels…
…I know these eels don’t have hands but damn. These eels have hands.
I will possibly re-attempt on a day when I can lock in and am not exhausted from experiencing two full workweeks in a single Monday 🏳️
#moray art tag#shrimp method monday#ok so it wasn’t a total loss#I mean at least now I am aware of their big lower jaw#and have a better idea of how that big long fin works#but damn I didn’t expect this to be so tough#eels…. deceptively slippery#it’s just a noodle but it’s so easy for them to look weird#I was actually originally gonna do crabs today#but I had a dream last night where I was petting a moray eel#and it morphed into something weird that I can best describe as like#the mutant fish thing from stardew valley#moray eel with a bulbous human-y cartoon head#and it bummed dream-me out bc it wasn’t as cute#so I was like i NEED to perfectly memorize what eels look like#this CANNOT be allowed to happen again
