Marinette in Juniper Lee style! Well, kind of. Some several weeks ago I was trying to make some new doodles of Marinette, Chat Noir and other characters in JLee style again. With these ones I decided to use a direct reference (right next to the canvas and not on the phone, like my traditional sketches) and then do the Shrimp/three-way study:

* Draw one from memory (1) -I’d been doing JLee style Marinette sketches before so it’s like a memory of all those * Draw one using ref (2) - use just one ref image, draw either next to it or over it * Draw a third one combining both (3)

I quite like the result and feel like I learned a bit here that’ll make future drawings of Marinette easier.
