Tarou seems to have calmed down some, and he places a vote for Endou.
Next, Tarou checks Nanami's hands. He's looking for blood, but maybe there's arsenic or ginger ale there.
None of the above!
Tarou checks the bottle and glass of ginger ale for visible fingerprints. Oh how cute, look at him trying to be a detective. He doesn't know squat about identifying fingerprints.
Well, there are presumably fingerprints, but they’re not clear enough to identify anything. Good try, Tarou!
In the kitchen, Tarou opens and looks inside everything he can. This means oven, cabinets, fridge, freezer, sink, and (if there is one) trash bin. Anything off about them?
Nope! Just your usual. There’s a container of ginger ale in the fridge that looks pretty good, though.
The idea of eating over Nanami's corpse is not appealing. Plus, Tarou would look like a huge jackass. Back on track, he checks around the kitchen's doorframe for clues.
It seems to be a doorframe! How exciting.
Now at the far end of the train again, Tarou reenters the dining car. He looks around the bar area and the table area for clues. More importantly: any food left out? Morning murder means no breakfast...
Nope... just your good old fashioned plates and forks that are always there. And the juice behind the bar! Nothing seems out of the ordinary, and even more sadly, no food is set out. There’s probably some in the kitchen with the body, though!
Leaving the bathroom, Tarou walks the length of the train from front to back. He investigates each cabin's hallway, being especially careful to check any nooks and crannies.
You learn the train is pretty long, but not much else can be found!
