A Picnic in the Park (shslnaegg)
Today was the day that Sayaka had made plans with her good friend Makoto Naegi to go to the park! It was a Saturday with fairly nice weather. They had planned on meeting around lunch time, so she thought it would be a good idea to make a small picnic basket to take! She wasn’t sure just what kind of food to bring, so she packed a little bit of everything. Sayaka packed sandwiches that were pretty plain, some chips, some fruit in various containers, and she even made cookies. She had already been up early to make all the food for them. She dressed accordingly since it was a bit chilly outside this time of the year. Sayaka picked out one of her favorite yellow dresses and wore a pink jacket over that to keep her warm. She added a few hair accessories to match her outfit as well.
Now, she had just finished making all of their food. She put all of the food in her bag along with some water bottles and a blanket for them to sit on. She zipped that bag up looking satisfied with all of her hard work! She took out her phone to text Naegi that she was on the way to meet him at his room. She was really looking forward to spending time with him! He had been a bit busy with school work and such as had she, but today they could finally hang out and catch up with how they have been over the past week or so! Sayaka grabbed her things and made her way out of her room and over to his.
It didn’t take her too long to go there, as his room was right next to hers anyway. Sayaka knocked on his door then spoke up happily. “Naegi-kun! Are you in there?” That was a dumb question. Of course he was in there. She had even heard his phone go off from receiving her text message. She waited for a reply before speaking up once again. “I hope you don’t mind, but I made us lunch. I thought we could have a picnic in the park while we’re there!” She was looking forward to this a lot! She didn’t get to go to parks too often, and being out with one of her best friends was going to make this day even better!
