  Shubo Star first got introduced to electronic music when she worked on music for games during her high school days. Making her debut in Blue Spirit club near Hongik University in Feb 2011 as a DJ, Shubo Star has since been mastering her craft as the representative of 'PARTY CULTURED' at Club Mansion also near Hongik University.

  Recently Shubo Star has performed as the resident DJ at current hot spots Club Circus, 24London, and Mi Casa Lounge in Itaewon. She also was a part of the Pentaport Rock Festival line up in the summer of 2011.

  With the simultaneous release of her first track Neroli as well as the QUAGUA Neroli remix under Steve Wu's Eastribal label on April 15th 2013, Shubo has made her official debut as  a producer.

  Shubo Star's music is influenced by chiptune style of music, letting the listeners feel a sense of nostalgia for music from the 8-bit generation. Her melody line's distinct originality leaves lasting impressions on modern day listeners. Shubo Star's goal is to make music that is familiar but not commercial to become a pioneer of her own style and build a special music culture together with her audience.
