MC: Everyone, thank you all so much for taking time out of your busy schedules to join us today!
MC: We will now begin the production press conference for NanaWish Hall’s 20th Anniversary stage play, “Chivalry ~Honor and Pride~”
MC: Let’s welcome our four main cast members and the director, Minamoto Hajime! Please come on stage!
*Claps*
Izumi Iori: I’m Izumi Iori from IDOLiSH7. It’s a pleasure to be here today.
Isumi Haruka: I’m Isumi Haruka from ŹOOĻ! Thanks for having me!
Yaotome Gaku: I’m Yaotome Gaku from TRIGGER. Thanks for coming.
Izumi Mitsuki: And I’m Izumi Mitsuki from IDOLiSH7! I’m so happy to see a big crowd here today! Thank you for coming!
Minamoto Hajime: I’m the director, Minamoto Hajime. It’s a pleasure to meet you all.
MC: The cast members showed up in their stage costumes today, your knight outfits look absolutely amazing! They really suit you!
Izumi Iori: Thank you very much. It’s actually my first time wearing it, it really makes me feel more disciplined somehow.
Izumi Mitsuki: Even as my little brother, I have to say he looks pretty cool!
Izumi Iori: You look cool too, nii-san.
MC: Both the Izumi brothers will appear in this play, but your characters are seniors and juniors, right?
MC: Well then, could each of you briefly introduce your roles?
Izumi Iori: Yes. I play Robin Albarrett, the heir of the prestigious Albarrett family of knights.
Izumi Iori: In the Order, he’s the junior to Nii-san's character, Miya, and Yaotome-san’s character, Azelroth.
Isumi Haruka: I play Marcia Wiz. Like Robin, he’s a newly graduated knight from the Royal Saint Lille Knight Training Academy, he’s a rising star full of potential.
Yaotome Gaku: Oh hey, you said that without stuttering. All that practice saying “Royal Saint Lille Knight Training Academy” over and over in the dressing room paid off huh?
Isumi Haruka: Wh–don’t say that here…
Izumi Mitsuki: That phrase comes up a lot in the early part of the script, huh? “Royal Saint Lille Knight Training Academy.”
Isumi Haruka: You two say it so easily…
Izumi Mitsuki: Haha! Anyway, Marcia’s got a bit of a rivalry thing going with Robin, right?
Isumi Haruka: Yeah. The Wiz family doesn’t have noble lineage, but they earned their knighthood through sheer skill so he’s very ambitious.
Izumi Iori: For the record, Robin graduated at the top of his class in the Academy. Marcia was second.
Isumi Haruka: But our scores were super close!
Izumi Mitsuki: Alright, I play Miya, a knight of the Eastern Tower who looks after those two hot-headed rookies. He is the self-proclaimed “Young Lion of Saint Lille”!
Izumi Mitsuki: I’m incredibly honored to take on such a major role in the stage adaptation of the long-running, beloved “Chivalry” series. I’ll do my best not to disgrace the legacy of the previous cast members!
Yaotome Gaku: I play Miya’s partner, Azelroth Noah. He’s the senior knight who warmly watches over the two troublemakers who’ve joined the Eastern Tower.
Yaotome Gaku: I’ll give it all I got so audiences fall in love with this new version of Azelroth too.
MC: Thank you, everyone!
MC: Expectations are sky-high now that the “Chivalry” series is being revived, especially since the acclaimed director Minamoto Hajime-sensei, who directed countless successful stage productions, is in charge!
Minamoto Hajime: I’ve been involved with this series for many years, so I’m really looking forward to seeing how this group will bring it to life. You’re all fired up, right?
Izumi Iori: Of course. Rehearsals are still ahead of us, but we’re determined to exceed expectations in the best way possible.
Izumi Iori: I will embody a knight who is as noble and brave as the “Chivalry” name deserves.
Isumi Haruka: I wanna discover my own version of what it means to be a knight too. I’ll start by practicing my sword swings every day so I can pull off powerful fight scenes!
Izumi Iori: Sword swings…?
Isumi Haruka: What’s the big deal? It’s important! Torao told me I gotta practice them daily.
Izumi Mitsuki: Ahaha, that’s great! I’ll practice my swings too, I want everyone to think about how cool I’d be as a knight!
Yaotome Gaku: Yeah, same here. I’ll do them every day.
Isumi Haruka: See? Even they agree. Izumi, you gotta join us between rehearsals.
Izumi Iori: Well, the fight choreography is one of the highlights, after all.
MC: Then please, show us some of those practice swings at the upcoming photo session!
MC: Now we’ll move on to the Q&A section to hear the reporters’ questions. The photo session will follow afterwards.
.
Takanashi Tsumugi: Great job on the press conference, everyone! You looked very dignified, poised and wonderful!
Izumi Iori: Thank you. I’m glad everything went smoothly.
Takanashi Tsumugi: Yes, and I think it made fans even more excited for the actual performance!
Takanashi Tsumugi: Anesagi-san and Utsugi-san are still in a meeting with the staff, so they should be back soon.
Takanashi Tsumugi: I’ll go bring the car around now, so please rest a bit here in the meantime.
Izumi Mitsuki: Got it. You must be busy so don’t rush, take your time.
Takanashi Tsumugi: Thank you for your consideration. I’ll return as soon as possible! Well then, please excuse me.
Izumi Mitsuki: Ah, so that’s why Manager’s in a rush, we’re running slightly behind schedule.
Yaotome Gaku: Well, the photo session did get pretty lively.
Isumi Haruka: That goes to show how much attention this play’s getting.
Isumi Haruka: I’m looking forward to the next read-through too. Minamoto-san seemed really kind.
Izumi Iori: You were scared of him before the press conference though, weren’t you?
Isumi Haruka: I wasn’t scared…It’s just that Minami said directors are usually scary, so yeah…
Izumi Mitsuki: Some directors can seem scary only because they’re passionate about their craft, sure. But Minamoto-san seems more, like…
Yaotome Gaku: Cool-headed, right? I heard from Tenn that he’s actually a really passionate guy though.
Isumi Haruka: Huh…? Does he mean that he turns into someone completely different during rehearsals or something…?
Izumi Iori: We’ll find out soon enough once rehearsals begin. This is an incredible opportunity to work with a director everyone in the stage world knows.
Izumi Iori: Let’s absorb everything we can and make sure this production becomes a success.
