Shuten Douji might be warm to Momiji to some extent (because he’s sweet on her), but that doesn’t mean it applies to others as well. Naturally, he is tolerant and patient to a degree, but he is still a rough man. It is in his nature to be aggressive and cold toward those who are weaker, to dominate, subjugate, fight.
For these reasons, he is easily agitated and provoked into taking action. But that is not to say he is a fool. Shuten-Douji is a very intelligent man, and can clearly see the bigger picture, should he feel like putting in the effort..
