What do you think it would be like if Smash!Shulk met canon!Shulk?

I mean, I write them as either the same guy In Game or at the very least, the same guy but Smash is post game;

point being Real Life People are Moody and I simply think that smash shulk is Having More Fun. because he's not dealing with the biological based genocide from Egil nor the gnostic cannibalistic omnicide from Zanza. so i earnestly think that there's more to him than his understandable Rage (and? depression? we're not getting into duplicate beef based on homophobia sorry) and like he could have fun and see cool outerworldly stuff!

but either way I guess Smash Shulk would provide hope? knowledge of other worlds? as well, meeting Pyra and Mythra would give him more context a la Xenoblade 2 spoilers (which i am not interested in playing; but may Watch instead) but shit runs very deep in a way that I cannot answer until you beat the game, hubby.

tl;dr i think he would cheer him up. but not as much as a "smash sucks" canon thumper would think.

but also probably he would make some sort of joke about 2 of him. something very british humor coded idk-

It's a shame that Felix didn't transition until age 26; as a child he was already going by "Mr." as a nickname, reading AskMen articles, internally fine with he/him (and should have had the idea to ask for a pronoun change aloud tbh.) and other rudimentary dysphoric interactions such as expecting a deeper voice and having bottom dysphoria. it feels beyond fucking parody in hindsight. hell, my mother even had suspicions IRL she never told me because, he was apparently he was also a chronic diaper-stuffer, which could have been rudimentary packing. it's stuff that would be inane to gender a child by at the time, but frustrating given the end result. the 90s/2000s didn't exactly have transmasc knowledge and role models floating out where people like him could See. y'know? TV only, no social media.

I'll admit that not as much forethought goes into my other trans muses though; so i guess they're early bloomers by default. how early depends on the muse's world- I feel like Shulk's transition was probably baked into homs society given their tech and low population.

At the same time, I'm ambivalent about trans HCs for muses I didn't make trans; it's very normalized in my brain, even if the bigotry is not.
