Strong, too – unless I’m remembering wrong, I think I’ve seen her take a guy like twice her size completely off his feet. Little powerhouse right there.
Chun-li gives herself such a hard time, though. Pushin’ herself to work so much, you know? Always having to be so hard in front of people… It makes me sorta feel like she might be avoiding everything else, so I worry about her, but don’t tell her I said so. She’d probably never let me hear the end of it if she knew. I like that she’s straight up – always speaks her mind, whether it’ll make her look like the bad guy or not. That’s kinda like me, so I dig it.
And like, we’ve had a little beef with each other, I guess. But I think she gets it, now that I said the stuff I was holding in, so it feels like we’re moving in the right direction. I want her to know I want her around, that I’m into having her around in general. Can’t work out the right words to say so, though. And I want her to loosen up, for fuck’s sake! Maybe I’ll just up and ask her if she wants to get pizza and drinks; she’s probably a fun drunk.
But I dunno… she’s a big mystery to me. Probably is to everybody, really. I want her to let me figure her out, get close, you know? I don’t even know if I’ll ever tell her most of this shit… but I want to.”
