So I bought and downloaded Heretical Geese and I have a few thoughts.
Haven’t played yet, but AFAICT you basically get to argue ethics and eat dice so it sounds fun and I’m excited to force my friends into enduring my pathetic attempts to GM
(It’s a Hexarchate-influenced standalone tabletop game. It’s pay-what-you-can and suggests $3. Download here: https://yhlee.itch.io/heretical-geese )
A miniature hexarchate tabletop RPG about ethics.
The players are all students training to join an elite assassin corps called the Foxes.
Basically, you’re at Shuos Academy, but Mr. Lee has decided not to throw the heavy worldbuilding with made-up words into this two-page player’s guide, which is sensible.
Yes, with this game, you too can leave your ordinary life and be a Shuos cadet. I am Nirai from a disgraced Andan/Liozh blended family, but I’d be lying if I said that wasn’t an exciting idea. Just be careful of Hexarch Mixodez.
Revenant Gun spoilers under the cut:

Your instructor is interested in games, geese, and ethics and has assigned this exercise accordingly.
Jedao. Huge headcanon that our instructor is the Immolation Goose Himself. Remember how Revenant Gun ended with Jedao Two taking a job to research and develop ethics curricula for Shuos Academy? This is one of his lesson plans.
So basically, my first attempt at GM for a TTRPG of any kind is also my chance to impress Jedao. Whew way to take the pressure off /s.
I’m pumped to play this.
