Could you do something more for Trixie and Tim? They're so adorable in a weird inter-generational friendship way!
“Tea delivery service!” Trixie announced softly as she pushed open the door to Sister Julienne’s office.
Timothy looked up abruptly from his work and smiled in thanks, though guilt clouded his eyes. “I didn’t mean to come here and disrupt everyone or expect them to do things for me.”
She sat across from him, her earnest blue eyes trained on his. “Sweetie, nobody thinks you did.”
He nodded, but the guilt did not leave his face. “I love my siblings and parents, but sometimes being at home is... frustrating.”
“And that’s absolutely fine,” Trixie assured him, remembering Cynthia voicing such feelings about when she first came to Nonnatus. “You spent much of your life with lots of space, and even though you’re happy about how that’s changed, it doesn’t mean you don’t sometimes want space and a bit of quiet. I’m sure your mum and dad understand, and would understand even better if you talked with them about it.”
He smiled in thanks, and she left him to his peaceful study.
