The thief had been in Orlando for barely half an hour, wandering around not far from the campus grounds of where he had been invited to stay. Licking absentmindedly at a large pink lollipop that he'd unwrapped upon arriving, Gaius took a moment to observe his surroundings. All the buildings looked the same to him; tall, grey, and nothing like things were back in Ylisse. Nothing he couldn't get used to over time of course, but unusual all the same.
It had been a bumpy ride to get there, and he couldn't help but hope the fuss was worth it. Weapons confiscated, not a penny to his name, and no idea where to go, the optimistic mood he'd begun his journey with had slowly dwindled into nothing but fatigue and irritation. Perhaps it was about time for him to give in, and ask someone for directions. Surely someone had to know where he was supposed to stay, right?
Pulling the torn, sticky-looking, dog-eared invitation from one of many pockets, Gaius cleared his throat and tried to get the attention of a random passer-by.
"Hey! Hey, can you help me out here?"
