So last night my kitten was extremely injured and I'm not used to having to make these things or ask for help, but they want to put her into intensive care and I'm already 900 dollars into her medical bill so I don't want her to suffer because I can't afford the care for her

My mom tells me I'm too high strung and not to worry about it and I'm like "HAVE YOU MET ME?!?!"
My family always stressed that if I ever needed to move home I could. And I've been feeling homesick and I want to go back to college so I asked my mother if I could move home while I go back to school and I have been met with the most barely hidden disdain conversation possible. My brother is staying with my mom until his wife gets back from deployment and I think she's just unhappy I will be home at the same time because my brother has always been her favorite. She's made it clear that my room won't be mine. It's a guest bedroom now and I'll keep it that way which means I'll be living in out of bags while all of my meager possessions will be in storage or sold. For gods sake I can't even keep my books in that room. I'm pretty she wants it to keep it easy to kick me out if need be. I just want to be somewhere I can live and focus solely on going to college and not struggling to do everything. Whenever I bring up moving home she takes hours to days to respond. You can always depend on family they say.
