( @ofsurviiving ) Sienna was her name, he had told her that his was Samuel (it wasn’t- he was just Sam- barely altering his name was intentional). His story was that he was looking for a sibling he had been separated from when he was adopted. A much older sibling. This was not the case, as Sam knew where two of his biological sisters could be found, and could take a good guess at where the other one was. What he wanted with this woman was his business, and because he finally had the money, he could pay someone else to do it. He knew that some would see this as sloppy, or just lazy. A part of his MO as Sportsmaster was the unpredictability of his actions and Sam had never tried this before. That was his justification (and if it saved him some time for his bigger projects, fine).
Not to mention, this was such a small, personal project. Not one for money, or clout, or whatever. That’s why he felt that it was fine to hand off some of it to her, a completely random P.I. he had done the basic research on. She checked out as a small potatoes, capable, investigator. he put on his uneasy face as he settled in front of her, “you ever find a needle in the haystack before?”
