Yknow what sucks about being the older sibling?

When your younger sibling gets invited to go to a relative’s house, you don’t find out until the next morning, and the reason why you didn’t get invited is because you have work, and you can’t take today off because you’re taking Friday off. Even though you have to work today, you still hurt and feel left out, especially since you haven’t gotten to see that relative nearly as much as your sibling has, but you have to suck it up and act like it doesn’t bother you because if your sibling sees you crying and you explain why, they’re gonna think it’s their fault and you don’t want them to think that, so you just try not to cry as you type out a Tumblr post because that’s the only social media you have that nobody you’re related to has, so you don’t have to worry about any relatives seeing it.

chris made one off handed joke about claire going bald because of her ponytails and she killed him forever over it. she does low ponytails now and stubbornly refuses chris’ every attempt to apologize and walk it back

she dug right back at him like a week later when she walked passed the back of the couch and casually went “oh, you have a little patch there.” as she poked his head and walked away. leon has been suffering with the aftermath of chris constantly asking him to check and make sure because “no, lee, i swear i can feel my scalp”

Me: I was trying to call you downstairs today like "biiiiiiig daaawwwwwggg!!" and Noah went, "yeah??" and I said "girl, you're little dawg"

Kark (laughs, then): awwww, I'm big dawg?? 🥺

Me: Yeah, and I'm medium dawg.

People without siblings will never understand using a years old toothbrush that light hasn't touched since it was purchased, which was shoved deep into a drawer and pry has an unknown amount of diseases that were said to have died out during the BCs just so you won't have to wait until your sibling is done showering to go to bed.

While my mother’s going through radiation therapy rn, me and my brothers have been coming over to stay with her and help run errands or bring food. My oldest hadn’t seen AKOTSK yet so we basically forced it on him just for him to start asking to put on the next episode lol

We have another sibling my parents always talk about like he was their golden child who never did anything wrong.

Needless to say, we laugh a lot about Maekar. 😆

Sometimes i think about the fact that i have met @abyssdotwav after only knowing them as an online sibling and it's wild that i didnt get fucking murdered like everyone said i would when you meet strangers on the internet.
