I wanna start a petition to change the batkid’s nickname to the sibwings because like 90% wanted to take after Dick and be Robin but no one wants to be like Bruce so why are they called bats?? Most of them have never been a bat?? They’ve all been birds like their big bird bro?? DC EXPLAIN

Well most of them kind of have been a bat- dick, jason, and tim have all donned the batsuit. Cass, Steph, and Babs have all been batgirl. It makes sense to me.

I also don't think they are called batkids in canon (I may be wrong) but like Gotham knows they all know each other, but I don't think they quite know how. If they were, in canon, called sibwings (which besides having cursed uwu vibes *shudders* lol) would make their relationship more obvious and then probably really put q light on the Wayne family.

Sibwings is a fun term though. It made me smile.😊
