Every single time that I look for anything Termagax, most of the posts about her solely revolve around her being "Megatron's mother" and that pisses me off. Mentorship in IDW2019 is not inherently familial, and the sole one we know of that is familial is with Arcee and Greenlight mentoring Gauge. Termagax is not Megatron's mother.

She is far more than the fandom boiling her down to just the bland "she's his mother". Women exist for more than motherly dynamics. Termagax is a fascinating character whose entire dynamic revolves far more around her radical beliefs that pushed society to exile her, and her giving up and self isolating herself because she cannot find similar minds with anyone in Cybertron's society. Her mentoring Megatron is mentioned only a few times, and she interacts with Megatron directly twice, and none of it is about her being a mother figure to him. It is her disliking him because of how much he has taken her views and twisted them for her own gain, and that she sees him as a failure on her part.

#Fandom needs to stop boiling women's existence down to motherhood and nothing else.
