Broken heart? What happened man?

After taking a stroll around the area surrounding the Cuttlefish Corner, Rose finally headed for the doors. The sleek interior and vibrant fish tanks caught her eye immediately, and she mentally filed the location away as a good place to write. Approaching the counter, Rose purchased a coffee and then sat back in one of the chairs. She wasn't really sure how things would go once Dirk arrived, but she was positive that they'd devise some sort of plan. ...Once he showed up, of course. Checking her phone, she confirmed what she already knew: she was on time, and Dirk was late.
Feferi nodde, but her face turned sad little. "I heard that you had it harder though, Dirk. Wasn't it just you and Roxy in the future or something? It had to be hard being all on your own."
Feferi thought what she would have done on her own. She had almost had that situation thrusted on her whenGl'bgolyb did the Vast Glub. If the game hadn't existed and she had done the Glub... Only Feferi and theCondesce would be left alive. It would had been a rather depressing life but she had a feeling Dirk still would of had it harder.
"Oh, I donut? Only a dollar. But what kind, I have plenty."
Feferi decided that for now on she was going to hold back a little bit more. Instead she went back to standing up stright but kept her smile on her face. She smiled brightly and said, "You are so cool, do you know that? I don't know how anyone can keep so calm."
Then Feferi then nodded. "Yeah, you see the Alterina sun is really harsh. You couldn't go out into the sun without getting sun burnt really bad or going blind. That's what happened to Terezi. Only Kanaya could go out in the sun."
Feferi ran a hand through her bangs. "Do you want anything to eat? I have lots of cakes and other sweets that you might like. Don't worry, I didn't make them."
Feferi leaned back, seeing he was a little startled and laughed a little. He was such a cool guy, just like Dave but he seemed to hold it up even better then him. She nodded and leaned a little back. "The morning is treating me just fin! How about you?"
Feferi noticed him take a drink and hoped that he liked it. She was starting to get better at coffee making but to be honest it was still a work in process. She knew that she would get better one step at a time.
"Just woke up a little too early for my likes. I miss being able to sleep all day honestly. I don't miss the harsh sun though!" She laughed.
Feferi thought back to the conversations that she had with Kankri and the one with the shades and she smiled. "Of course," she said, and began to fix his vanilla frappuccino. While she did she looked over at him and said. "I'm Feferi Peixes by the way. I think we've talked over tumblr before."
Feferi finished his frappuccino and handed it over to him with another bright smile. "I know things are quiet here right now, but I only opened up. It will fill up, you'll sea."
Feferi was humming to herself when she heard the door open with a soft chime. With a bright smile she turned towards the door and said, "Welcome to the Cuttlefish Corner Coffee Shop! Is there anything that I can get for you?"
Feferi wasn't sure who this guy was, but he seemed pretty cool. There was something familar though about his pointy sunglasses, his blond hair and the way he held himself. She kept her friendly smile on, dimming it back a little bit so she didn't look like a crazy troll.
