trying to imagine requiem if it had been focused on the outbreak survivors/their families like grace being alyssa’s daughter doesn’t actually seem consequential or like they gave a shit about outbreak in the slightest #TBH

isn’t it insane that stories about young boys are considered stories about childhood but stories about young girls are considered stories about girlhood
i can’t wait till the odyssey movie comes out so obsession can stop being the top movie on letterboxd
Hiii, I hope you don't mind this mini rant because I have no friends that like RE -_- but I just finished playing through Code Veronica, and while I really enjoyed it, I'm kind of peeved that in a game where the premise is, "Claire tries to find her brother," Chris ended up saving Claire in the end. Like idk I thought this was HER game. I'm hopeful for the remake though because in an insider interview, the devs said this was going to be Claire's game and her story. I didn't know what they meant at first, but after beating the game, I hope this means she gets to have her big moment at the end instead of Chris.
Don’t mind a rant in my inbox at all! I do agree that it feels kinda like a weak writing moment for Chris to get the big hero moment instead of Claire, it feels like they don’t trust her to be as strong and capable of a character as her brother, which especially feels weird after the ending of re2 where Claire defeats Birkin and all that, but regardless I agree and hope that Claire can get the hero moment in this game, I don’t mind us playing as Chris for a section of the game but ffs let my girl be a badass!
fuck letterboxd is crashing as i’m trying to edit my review of ready or not 2 to include another criticism of the movie that i forgot to mention but really didn’t like
I mean I think we should have a serious unfiltered conversation about the racism and sexism first but yeah sure the fact that they don’t care about the new characters they introduce in games is worth talking about too I guess
i am so sick of modern found footage movies adding a static glitch effect in post for cuts and/or to manufacture a scare or just fucking because. i am so sick of it unless the camera is damaged it should not glitch in that way stop itttt
hello i’m going to complain about a take from someone i don’t know that they had abt a character from a children’s fandom ok here we go
i saw someone making headcanons for justine and they said she’s secretly a mean girl she just hides it behind her cutesy nice persona and i’m just like ??? you think JUSTINE is a mean girl? the meanest we ever saw her was when she was being competitive when duchess challenged her to a dancing-related thing which is her bread and butter of course she’d be competitive? anyway besides that one (1) moment between all of the show and books she is never mean to anyoneeee where did that come from she is literally the sweetest angel
