I had a question about birth control. I was wondering if it affects your sex drive? I tried researching it online but i'm not always sure when a site is 100% accurate and I really trust your info. and think you do a real great job running this blog.
Can my sex drive rise from being on birth control or does birth control only decrease it?
It’s not well understood, nor does it seem like a common side affect, but some people do report libido changes while on birth control.
But of course there’s several reasons for libido changes, so in may not necessarily be your birth control causing a difference. Particularly, your energy and mental health, including meds you may take for these issues, can cause problems.
Most doctors suggest a 3 month trial period for negative but minor side affects to sort themselves out. But you can at any time speak with a doctor about your concerns. They will ask you some general questions, and if it’s ultimately decided your birth control is likely to blame, they can help you figure out a different method to use if it’s very bothersome.
Side affects so far have been •loss of appetite •feeling sick •pins&needles/numbness in my fingers And thats about it so far but 4 days in and I'd say about 7% has cleared (1% being a hand print) off arms legs & facd at the moment not too bad tbh

Downside to reading all the side affects of a drug?
I turn into a hypochondriac and all of a sudden realize that I am experiencing many of those symptoms.
It isn't even in your system yet, idiot. You always feel anxious. You're only dizzy/dry mouthed/restless/itchy because you read those in the "warning sign" section of the page.
