🍺🍺½❌❌ℹ️ • Side Launch Brewing Company Session Seven ABV:4.6% IBU:❓ • ℹ️ I am not a hoppy beer lover, so I will put this disclaimer on anything over or I think is over 50 IBU’s. That being said... “hoppy beer lovers” please don’t take offence to the rating I give. I’m trying to learn to acquire the taste for this style or at least find some I can enjoy 😬 • Begins with pale grainy cracker malts. The next notable flavours are melon and papaya in the mid-sip. A robust burst of grapefruit and pine hops take over next and leave a quite bitter taste. The bitterness lingers into the aftertaste and combines with a herbal tea-like flavour to conclude the sip. @sidelaunch #sidelaunch • This one just isn’t my style, as the hops aspects were too strong for me. I found myself enjoying it slightly more as it warmed to room temperature, but it wasn’t enough for me to pick this one up again. Side Launch Mountain Lager Review

Initially taking my first sip It seemed quite refreshing, followed by a light grain and light spice combo. I found the aftertaste to be a tad bitter, but tolerable and not quite as noticeable with every sip. Personally I found the colour to be a nice gold, and found it overall to be a pretty decent beer. I have also had this beer since, from a can, and found the taste to be a little more stale versus on tap. It goes down pretty easily in my opinion, and I would recommend giving it a try for yourself and seeing what you think. They are located in beautiful Collingwood, ON so if you are looking for a reason to have a weekend road trip this may be it. I have had a couple other beers from Sidelaunch which I will review at some point, and have never been disappointed. Thanks for reading!
