tyler's just laying across the couch, energy drink can empty next to him, entering 47th hour awake. "do you think colors can feel rage?"

       cam looks up from his laptop, giving tyler a slight look of confusion -- but when he examines the many energy drinks that surrounded the other, he could piece together just how they got here. as much as cam thinks tyler should FINALLY get himself to bed, he knows that tyler could easily call him out on his lack of sleep.

There was a certain sense of anxiety when speaking with her cousins these days. Of course, that was to be expected- her mother had bustled she and her siblings off so quickly, they’d barely even had time to say goodbye. It was bad enough that when they did finally return to the encanto, she worried that they wouldn’t be accepted back.

But here was at least one of her cousins trying to alleviate some of her fears, and slowly she let her shoulders relax, picking at the cuff of one of her gloves with a strained but genuine half-smile... something she certainly had gotten from her father.

“Well so do you, Macario. Really, though, it’s... nice, to hear that. It’s a little too easy to feel adrift after being gone so long, you know? We’re just trying our best to rebuild bridges. It can be a lot, you know?”

Bruno trailed off there, recollecting his thoughts. He’d never been very good at socializing even before his self-imposed in-home exile, but now - with ten whole years separating him and actually interacting with his own family - it felt insurmountable. But trying was the most important thing, so that’s what he focused on, offering a sort of awkward half smile to his nephew.

“It’s not that big of a secret, really, I mean... I guess it’s kind of a secret. It won’t cause some kind of incurable rift in the family which is good because we really do not need that again.”

Glomgold's speech is intense and focused even as he grabs at the food she brought.

"The sharks. Always. Have laser eyes. The sharks get as many upgrades and weapons as they want. Because they're special little babies, and because they need long range attacks if they're going to kill Scrooge McDuck!"

The sharks are not going to kill Scrooge McDuck. That's not even part of the plan. But he sure likes tying it all together, and the phrase feels good on his tongue- kill Scrooge McDuck. Kill Scrooge McDuck. Preferably in a non-lethal way. But still. Kill Scrooge McDuck!

            An exasperated sigh from  the  parrot,  his  eyes  coming  up  from  his  own  phone  just  for  a  brief  moment.  She  was  hopeless.  Clearly,  she  didn’t  understand  the  way  it  all  worked.  It  wasn’t  even  that  difficult  of  a concept!
