Wield the Infinity Gauntlet! Well, kind of...

Hong Kong-based high-end collectible brand, Hot Toys, is releasing a highly-detailed prop replica of the Infinity Gauntlet from the film, Avengers: Infinity War. Since the early 2000’s, the Hot Toys brand has established itself as one of the world’s premier producers of officially licensed high-end collectibles, and now, following the recent success of Avengers: Infinity War, the creative team at Hot Toys have crafted a highly-detailed replica of the Infinity Gauntlet that Thanos wielded in the film. Still in the prototype stage of production, the Hot Toys Infinity Gauntlet Prop Replica is available for pre-order; units are expected to ship some time in the first quarter of 2019.

Although there is an incredible amount of detail packed into this polystone recreation of the Mad Titan’s gauntlet, including LED lights with two different lighting modes, this replica cannot me worn… And while a collectible that will set buyers back $930 (price from sideshowtoy.com) probably shouldn’t be handled to often, I still find asking, “What’s the sense of having an Infinity Gauntlet that you can’t wear once and a while?” Regardless of the replica’s lack of wearability, it is a truly stunning piece.
