Smaugust Day 1: Tree

Trying to do Smaugust this year because I wanna draw more dragons!! I'm following this prompt list from sidhe.and.dragons on IG ᕙ⁠(⁠⇀⁠‸⁠↼⁠‶⁠)⁠ᕗ

When I saw the first prompt I immediately knew that I wanted to draw goofy ass Alolan Exeggutor lollll

Alolan Exeggutor is so silly looking!! I love it sm, though haven't really used it in a playthrough because it's literally only found on the last island of the game like WHYYYYY .·°՞(≧□≦)՞°·. We can find fairy types much more easily but to get a dragon is a daunting task on a playthrough team sometimes... ugh... Anyways here's my take on drawing the silly guy!! I do like how it looks as is but I added the bark texture that kinda looks like scales, since some palm trees irl have that sorta bark texture, and some spines sticking out, mostly just to look more dragon-like lol
