Arghhhh what if Sid’s face has started decomposing so he had like a hole in his cheek when he has gotten revived so Stein helped him with like…. Skin grafting? And filled it in so Sid can eat and drink without problems <3 and ofc, Sid is now another victim that had Stein’s iconic stitches marking him
love how its mentioned that stein reanimates sid once and nobody ever brings it up again. whats with that?
I get kind of heart broken thinking of Spirit when I come up with these SidStein posts. Cuz even when they’re not the main idea, I just cannot help but love me some SpiritStein. So I usually imagine Spirit with one sided feelings
But no more!! I think instead he should just be completely flabbergasted that Stein managed himself into a healthy relationship and it’s just weirder that he’s dating Sid. The more he thinks about it, the more it makes sense but it still weirds him out a little sometimes
And he’s so upset he fumbled his marriage but Stein, this absolute freak, is in a totally normal and cool relationship with mutual trust and respect. He’s just jealous and petty.
Stein realizing he’s in love with someone other than Spirit is so strange and even a little heartbreaking. Stein didn’t think it was possible. He thought he may never move on really. His obsession with Spirit is so ingrained in his head, all over his heart and body.
And then suddenly he’s working with Sid and his heart feels light and he feels a jittery excitement in his bones. Sid is so cool, powerful and knowledgeable. And reviving him, Stein really feels a tug in his soul, pulling him towards Sid.
And then the world is almost ending and he doesn’t really have time to think about that. He doesn’t have much time to think properly with the madness taking over. But I like to imagine him and Sid friends and Sid visits Stein and checks on him after the kishin is defeated and Stein is recovering.
It’s definitely a slow burn, Stein learning to love someone new and still learning to accept that he is loved by others. And it’s so fucking funny thinking of Naigus knowing about Sid’s crush and rolling her eyes anytime she sees the two interact. Stein is so fucking stone faced and flat with his tone, while Sid feels like a dumb teenager again. He can handle a kishin awakening but having a silly little crush is completely different!
Personally, Sid and Stein are also interesting to think about because I don’t see Sid as being sexually attracted to men. So playing with the “line” and also imagining Sid being a partner pleaser makes an interesting sort of conflict and boundary testing that I want to write

Is Sid the type to get flustered when around he crush? It sounds kind of cute I like the idea of it
He stutters a couple times and if he were alive, he’d be blushing. Stein just kinda stared at him and he’s thinking ‘Is Sid okay? He doesn’t usually act like this.’ He’s got no fucking clue
Sid toughs it out for sure. He doesn’t run away, he faces his embarrassment with a stone face and hates himself later.
