Peak iPad
Siegler writes about the “Astonishing, Disappointing iPad”, a reference to Wallstreet’s exaggerated expectations and a misunderstanding of the market for tablets. In my opinion, it’s clear that as a novelty product that created a market, iPad sales did extremely well for the first four years. Why is Apple not selling as much this year? Because people have a first, second, third or fourth generation iPad or iPad Air or iPad mini and iPad mini retina laying around. How many iPads do you need in one household?
