You know i’m a product of my time and my place In this society of falseness and empty smiles We all are pretenders attempting to cover our tracks Uncomfortably fitting in these tiny little boxes built by our fathers and their fathers and cushioned in silk and velvet by our suffocatingly irregular mothers Who love us and leave us and scold us and mold us Into perfect dolls with curled hair small feet soft skin downcast eyes and Birds stuck in the cage of our ribs, dying to break free, dying, dying

I’m not who I’m told I am I’m cute but too much, I’m happy but not really, I’m doing my duty to my family and my queen but it’s not what i want

I’m going to marry a beautiful dangerous boy Who i love but don’t Who loves me but not like he should, who loves his darkness and his demons more than my sweet sunlight And we can’t offer each other the things we need to breathe

I feel empty and dry and cold like a desert at night and full like a cup of wine, overflowing overwhelmed as they pour so much into me, all these worthless expectations of who I desperately need to be but am not

I sit and look at you, your forest eyes and your broken feet, your snow-soft hands And I’m filled with longing, more suited for dark nights and forbidden books filled with sin And my glass of wine is overflowing still, with commandments and orders and threats of Eternal Hell, but I don’t care about God Or I do, but I think if he has ever felt how I feel, he would not condemn me because this, if anything, is true beauty

And I know that love, here, isn’t quite enough.

Something I wonder about once the Emerald Witch arc gets animated (which looks like will happen since each arc is slowly getting animated now): will Sieglinde be speaking German? She does have that hilarious language barrier and miscommunication with Ciel, and I most definitely want to see that animated. 

Does that mean Sebastian will be conversing with her in German as well? He was the only one among the Phantomhive household who could communicate with her, and taught her English. So, in the English dub, would there be another voice actor to speak in German, while J Michael Tatum stays with the English-speaking lines? 

And in a German dub, what would Sieglinde be speaking in then?

Thanks for everyone taking part for #sieglindeweek so far, it’s amazing!

It has been a hectic week for me so I was only able to do anything for day 1, but I will be completing the prompts as long as I will be able to draw. lol
