Gabriel knew the deadlines was coming close for the end of all the couple assignments so he thought he might as well take advantage of his boredom and take a venture to the place he had never actually been before. With his identification card secure in his pocket, Gabe walked briskly towards the gates that crossed into area B and C. He stopped momentarily outside the area C gate way, his shoulders dropping as every ounce of pride he had held within himself vanished. He soon continued and pulled his i.d card from his pocket handing it to the official at the gate. "What's your business in area C today, Mr. Rossi?" He questioned as Gabe rolled his eyes fluently. "Going to see my partner as per partner task." He muttered through a sudden clenched jaw. The official soon handed his card back, before Gabriel snatched it back quickly before continuing through the gate. The atmosphere as he entered completely signalled to him where he really was; area c was eerie and uncomfortable. 'A' was so much better and he was glad he stayed there and nowhere else. He headed to Sienna's, although he hadn't been there before he knew exactly where it was.
There were no words to describe area C better than tattered, a mess existing to be a source of food more than a shelter to the rest of the survivors, but to Sienna she felt safer there. She enjoyed the space, the stretch of lands between houses, which gave all of area C residence a space to spend time in other than the scattered mess they used as shelters and called home. Her chocolate orbs were moving over the field that lay ahead of her, her gaze restless and her body tense, ready to jump in a second. It was always like that; something controlling their minds and bodies. Her eyes fluttered close, the breath leaving her lungs in a heavy sigh as she felt a presence close by, making her body tense more, her spine straightening and causing her to seem taller even as she stood there. ‘You need to relax,’ she kept repeating in her mind before she finally took a deep breath and shifted around, opening her eyes to rest her gaze on Gabriel Rossi as he stood not far away. “You don’t belong here, you know,” She mumbled quietly, knowing that her words carried to him.
Sienna could see herself in that moment with a raised brow, but unfortunately to her, she couldn’t really do that, so she sat there with a poker face, nothing detecting what was on her mind before she finally pushed herself to her full length, her eyes glowing with annoyance. She didn’t know what Gabriel was doing in area C, and she didn’t really want to know. She didn’t care, but for him to talk to her life that, as if she was nothing and never will be made her blood boil in her veins. A rich misfit was standing not far from her, so she took a few small steps until she stood right in front of him. “You can go, find something worth your time,” The words rolled on her tongue as she tried to show her disgust while trying to save her pride. Her chocolate orbs scanned his face for a second before they finally met his gaze, holding it while Sienna tried to read him. The fact that she didn’t know him didn’t help her do that and not a minute after she looked away. Placing one leg after the other she started to walk past him, intending to leave him by himself in the field. “You can turn around and leave whenever you want.”
As they interaction continued into the depths of awkward he couldn't help but noticed the smallest details of her small face, her eyes… they were well, beautiful. The way they stood out so brilliantly against the glistening beams of the sun that barely touched their skin. Sienna was pretty, sometime he would never say to her out loud. That would cause him more issue than needed. "You know want loner, I would go find something worth my time if I wasn't going to get my arse.. well our arses grilled if we don't do this stupid task and you have to go and be fucking difficult." Yep, correction she wasn't pretty she was fucking annoying. Obnoxious and unneeded and stupid X had stuck him with her. Why couldn't farm boy and him just swap partners. It would be a lot easier for everyone. As she walked briskly past him his palms clenched into tight fists, he turned quickly on the balls of his feet before following her. "Listen here if you are quite happy to get into trouble they be my guest, otherwise you're going to have to deal with me now." He hissed at her, coming into step with her. "We are partners after all."
She could feel her body stand still as her feet froze on the ground, while she played what he said in her mind a few times before shifting to look at him, her arms intertwining with each other against her chest making her stand taller than she already is. The brunette came out for some peace, wanting the space and the air, but she didn’t expect for Gabriel to come up here, show at area C even if it was just for the task. She didn’t really care if she got into trouble over this, but she was smart and should’ve guessed that he wouldn’t want to be in trouble because of her. “First, never ever use that tone on me ever again,” Her orbs rested on his face as she spat the words, “Second, I don’t care about this task, and so you might as well just save yourself the trouble and leave. I know you are dying to get out from here.” A small smile cracked on her face, as if to make her upcoming words seem nicer. “Third and last, I don’t want to deal with you.”
As her words were spat at him he couldn't help but raise a smirk against the corners of his lips, fuck she could dribble some words. Once she was finished he couldn't help but chuckle, "My turn." He muttered, stepping closer and closer to her with every sentence. "One, I'll use whatever tone I like." He hissed, "Two, I am more than dying to get out of here and you know you can go fuck yourself you self-righteous bitch." He was only inches away from her now. "And lastly, never have to deal with me again." He spat, a mischievous smile cross his lips quickly. Like a sudden flash, "Bye now… loner." He began to back away slowly, in the direction of the area a gate cross.
Gabriel had only seen Sienna once in the past week and for their so called partnership that wasn’t good enough. He somewhat already had the X official’s on his back for another reason so he didn’t need the extra pressure of her disappearing. He’d already fucked everything up. What more could they do to make his life any worse than it was at the moment? But then something dawned on him, all the issues happening in his life were of his own doing. He was slowly digging a hole he feared he’d never recover from. A hole that might just ruin the fragile exterior he mustered to keep held up. But he knew due to recent events involving a certain Crystal Lawrence that that exterior would soon be tarnished. She… the girl that haunted his dreams; she would destroy them when she found out and just thinking about her reaction literally broke his heart. For a girl he’d told that he loved he knew she would be beside herself with grief… and him… well he’d fought for so long for this girl and just at the moment when he thought he’d finally won her over he went and destroyed it. He’d fucked it up well and truly and now he could barely live with the thought. She would break his heart because he promised never to break hers.
Gabriel had paused outside the official building, he had not been able to shake any of these thoughts since the night he kissed Crystal and honestly they were beginning to take over his life. With a deep and heavy sigh Gabe took another step… one after the other and he was suddenly in the building. Oh how he was dreading the questions that would come along with what Gabriel had to say. They wouldn’t be impressed was the least of it. He walked quickly to the front counter, a rather attractive woman behind the counter who was filling out what looked like partner paperwork sat behind it. Her bright orban hair perfectly complimented the freckles that covered the majority of her cheeks. She was hot; it slightly caused a switch to trigger in his head. All his thoughts about Amanda, Crystal and Sienna disappeared and his well-known cocky smirk turned up at the corners of his lips. “Well hello there, toots.” The woman glanced up and caught his eye, a light pink colouring the perfectly defined cheeks she obtained. It looked as if she was about to say something when all of a sudden the Official X administrator he’d spoken to only a few days earlier appeared. His arms were crossed over his chest, he didn’t even look at the redhead; he simply said, “Gabrielle, could you please leave us? Gabriel, follow me.” Gabe presumed Gabrielle was the red head because she suddenly dropped her gaze to the floor before she stood up and left. Gabe rolled his own eyes and pushed himself off the counter that he’d been leaning against before following Official X out of the foyer and into a familiar questioning room.
Once he’d sat down Gabriel crossed his arms over his chest and scoffed, “I’m not here to be interrogated.” He hissed at the official as he went to close the room door. “I’m sure you’re not, Mr Rossi. What I am curious about however is, why exactly are you here?” Gabe allowed his jaw to clench, god he hated the people who had deemed themselves leaders. Whenever people from the Administration staff spoke to him all he could think of was World War two; his favourite subject in history and probably the most interesting of all. To him Leader X was the modern day Hitler. The fascist dictator who only saw the world in one point of view, his. That pissed Gabriel off the most. This world was supposed to be better, the partnerships were supposed to be beneficial and all they were doing was turning people bitter and rebellious. Gabe’s jaw stayed completely clenched, “I’m here to tell you that Sienna and I won’t be performing our task.” He muttered through clenched teeth, “She disappeared on me and now refuses to cooperate, so I give up on it.” His shoulders rolled in a backwards motion, causing a sort of shrug. “So you’re just going to give up Mr. Rossi?” The X official didn’t look at all surprised by Gabriel’s words; it was almost as if he’d been expecting Gabriel to wimp out or give up. In Gabe’s eyes he was doing neither, he was simply eliminating an issue from his already stressful life.
“Not giving up. More like, playing my pass card.” He smirked, rising quickly from his seat. “Now you know… I’m out.” He debated whether he should shake the man’s hand but decided against it, he wanted nothing to do with them; let alone to allow him to touch him. “And by the way, my pass card also gives me the internal position to tell you...” He smirked as he headed for the door, “Well to tell X, please pass on the message. I hope he makes my punishment good because he can kiss my arse.” Gabriel wasn’t thinking straight really. He knew he was being slightly reckless and a little more rebellious that he usually cared to be. But for once in his life there was something serious. Something he had to take seriously and these so called responsible leaders were ruining it all. And now, he’d probably dug himself a huge hole. Well… he’d been digging it for a few days recently… just now, he added an extra few feet. Now they knew what he really thought of them.
