In the analogy of Dean = Baby, everyone wants a peek under her hood. They can't ever just admire her or enjoy her for what she is. They always wanna hack the machine, know how she works, and be so smug about it. Or they wanna mock her. Or they wanna call her a symbol of Masculine Men TM. Their property and class symbol and pride. And not what she really is - a home and warmth. She held the memories of Sam and Dean's entire childhood. She's the canvas and the shelter at once. Confining as she can be, she's all their family had. She's the original family heirloom, the og family symbol. And people like Henry think you'll get greasy if you're near her. Sam loves her but he's fundamentally incompatible. Others will rip her apart with no regard. Others wanna take her apart just because. Because they think they understand her so well. And they're all always wrong precisely because they simply cannot fucking let her be. Dean is the only one who can "fix her" or maintain her or enjoy the purr of her engine because he's the only one who tends to HER. Not always trying to pick her apart to see what makes her tick. He knows. It's a quite certainty and knowledge. He cleans her windows and her seats and tires first. It's respect. Everyone else is constantly looking to break in. And they are always so wrong.

I’ve been so excited for this piece, I had to post it as soon as I could! Nadja is such a strange comfort for me…I assume it’s the dark and cozy feeling of the vampires house, along with Nadja’s own assertive and protective presence. She makes me feel so safe, she’s who I tend to think about when I’m upset. How silly that my kinda messed up ship is what brings me comfort. Anyways, I love this piece, I love Nadja, and I love Sal 🧡🫶🧡

*walking past you* and tbh isnt it a little crazy how "well lolisho [can be] used to groom children" is framed as if its unique to lolisho art? like as if toys and gifts and attention and any shared fandom and *the nebulous concept of maturity* arent used to groom kids. like. not in the sense that "well other stuff is bad too so let me have my bad thing >:(" but in the sense that, without lolisho art, any grooming that was going to happen is going to still happen, because thats how it works. itll just happen thru a different avenue.

the art isnt what causes abusers to abuse..

its just a deep misunderstanding of abuse and i think its no good to make judgements on something you dont understand very well.

like in the name of protecting future victims, theres so much collateral damage of ppl who are not grooming predators. like. no harm was prevented, and instead, youve just stopped a bunch of people from drawing art in a certain style bc you find it objectionable.

and any grooming that was going to happen will still happen.
