So, a lot of people think I wear glasses as a fashion statement. What they don’t know is, I couldn’t make out an “R” from an “8” on the projector in my first year of varsity. I didn’t think I needed glasses, I also couldn’t afford them so I strained my eyes quite a bit. When I became one of the first @oakley “ambassadors”, now “influencers” I got the opportunity to get an eye test and pick a frame, all paid for by the brand. They saved my sight. This is also when I got introduced to @onesight and the work they do. Glasses are about so much more than clear sight. #SightEffects include being able to learn more, earn more, and live a better, more connected daily life. But 1 in 7 people worldwide can’t get the glasses they need. Learn more about a huge global health problem we can actually solve with @OneSight . Check them out to see how you can play your part and make a contribution to giving the gift of sight to so many other disadvantaged people worldwide. #WorldSightDay2019 🤓 https://www.instagram.com/p/B3b_5p0jjcn/?igshid=1wd4m4563ssxp
