Nucleovile - the pi bond pokemon
Type: electric

Nucleovile is the evolved form of electrane.
The great negative charge of nucleovile's double bond leaves it open to electrophilic attack from species such as... wait, no. I keep forgetting that it isn't a giant molecule of isobutylene. But it does act similarly. As well as the two single bonds holding three of its eyes together, it has a double bond with twice as much negative charge as the single ones. This is even more dangerous than electrane, since anything even vaguely positively charged will be send flying towards it.
For some reason it can control the electron density comprising the two lobes of the pi bond, usually making them into arms. It can't pick anything up without ionising it completely, so there isn't really any use for this other than attacking.
As with its pre-evolved form, the pokemon exerts a powerful morphic field, causing a halo of isobutylene gas to form around itself. This makes it prone to exploding, so trainers are advised to keep them away from fire type pokemon (and, you know, fires in general).
[I believe electrophilic addition was the first reaction mechanism I properly memorised because SN1 and SN2 are hard to remember at first.]

Pi & Sigma
A pi bond between two atoms, for example two carbons or a carbon and an oxygen, is always accompanied by a sigma bond. Together the two bonds constitute a double bond. Thus the two identical lines representing a double bond in a Lewis structure actually represent two different kinds of bonds. A triple bond consists of two pi bonds and one sigma bond.
