These respectable absolute bricks of a book traveled half the world to arrive to me signed by Victoria herself ! (with bonus novellas !) I ordered them from her through her site as a birthday gift for myself because The Hands of the Emperor is an utterly unpredictable book with intensely lovable characters and worldbuilding done right which blew my mind and became my favorite book as soon as I finished it, and its sequel At the feet of the Sun is also very, very important to me. She was nice enough to sign and ship them to me through a whole ocean in the midst of her own IRL life endeavours so thank you so much Victoria, for your kindness and for the words and worlds you gifted us !
