Where are you from?
San Bernardino Mountains, but moved to Los Angelesās soon as I could to escape the cold. I canāt stand cold weather. as soon as I was 18 I kicked rocksā¦I was gone
How long have you been making music?
been making music now for 18 days. just kidding been more like 5 years behind the mic in the booth and over ten years on a promotion and marketing tip.
How many songs /albums have you released to date?
11 solo projects and one group project
Can you tell us about your latest release and the background and inspirations behind it?
my latest release is from IQ and itĀ is called SmartAsses. itās not out yet but Iām in the studio every day with Q hard at work, the background is inspired by the Beastie boys. Back and forth between the two of us. Real tight and turntāup
How have you ended up in the music industry?
I started a label called Intelligence Records created by IQ and I. thatās when things began to take off for us.
What do you think of the music industry in 2015?
I love the music industry in twenty fifteen because the fans are outstanding. they love to support new albums and the peps love to support the hustle to.
Who do you think the most influential artist?
the most important and influential people in the game are Wiz, Kendrick, YG, Dre, 2Chains, and Fetty..
Who have you collaborated with so far in your career?
I collaboratedĀ with the catās I always looked up to like Awol One, Abstract Rude, prodigal sonn, Percee P, and 2Mex. been a fan even before we teamed up on albums, mix tapes, and albums.
How do you think you differ from other artists?
I differ from other artists because of the way I look at things. my idea is to give everybody what they think of, but canāt say for some reason. I say it
Dead or alive, who would be your dream collaboration?
I would love to work with Beck someday. No one comes more creative in my opinion. Beck is hella fleak on tracks
What was the first album you bought?
the first album I picked up was Dr.Dre the Chronic. I listened to that album over and over again for a few months and knew every word on that record.
Whatās your favorite song at the moment?
my favorite song is high powered by Kendrick Lamar High Powered is heatā¦
If you had to sell your music collection tomorrow, what album would you leave in your draw?
sounds strange, but NOFX punk in Drublic. reason is it inspired a lot of my music. -Sig laughs outloud
What is your favorite saying?
People want what they canāt have, but when they get it they donāt want it any more.
What other hobbies or interests do you have?
I love to fish, and play Basketballā¦
Tell us more about your upcoming project or this new project?
our new album Smartasses is 100% produced by Bobby Ruckuss. and holds the best rhymes and delivery by my cousin IQ and I. canāt wait to get it up on iTunes and thousands of fresh LPs to the streets of L.A. soonā¦.
Whatās in the pipeline after this project?
after SmartAsses drops I plan to record a new solo project and talk to Tom-D, DK, Toldja, and Nate Space about doing a new InfiniteĀ Vision releaseā¦
