first, katniss and peeta balance each other perfectly, katniss is more excitable while peeta is calmer. it's so cute seeing how good they match the other one
and peeta has always given EVERYTHING for katniss, he is so very kind and loveable to her. he always put her life in front of his own.

some people say that katniss doesn't love peeta because she kisses gale sometimes. i strongly disagree. katniss and gale are so good friends that it can be hard to keep friendship and love apart, but they success in the end and gale find someone else. katniss and peeta get two adorable childs and (probably? i've forgotten) get married
they survived two hunger games together, and was going through peetas situation in mockingjay. gale and katniss didn't. from the start katniss pretends being in love with peeta, but it later is getting real. he was the nice boy who threw a bread to her, and turned into the boy who is there for her, and who is keeping her alive, who she NEEDS in her life to live
they are a very sweet couple, nothing can change that<3<3<3
