havent drawn anything in a while so. Quick Doodle Time

one design exercise i like doing is randomly generating two of my trolls and then fusing them together, which has made me realise that A. zotick + sigrun creates the worst horn combination ever, and B. viltau is just a fancy leithe

i named them zotrun and leitau but sigick and vilthe also works LMAO

writing this Big Profile Doc has made me realise that barely any of my trolls have pets

liiore’s got his two guinea pigs

zotick owns an ant farm and keeps bees, as well has having a whole slew of other pet bugs and reptiles

charon attempts to raise birds, but the local birdlife doesnt like to stick around in the cages he leaves out

ashell and davitt both have cats

daimon adopted a dog after his lusus died

vallis has an entire aquarium of sea creatures at his hive

and sigrun kiiinda has pet penguins alongside their lusus?? tho theyre more just penguins from their lusus’ colony/herd/whatever-the-fuck-the-collective-noun-is who also stick around and siggy knits sweaters for uvu

tho then again im just

Inktober / OC October Day 26: Sigrun

second half of the superhero pair! siggy’s design is somewhat obviously inspired by different iterations of marvel’s thor, as well as vikings / norse mythology in general

like charon, they don’t have any superpowers to speak of, but they possess the legendary spear gungnir (whose design is an amalgamation of a bunch of designs i found on google, then made 150% more Anime(tm)), which provides them with all the strength and magic they need to save the day

i somehow managed to actually finish this at a normal time wow and wow im actually capable of using colours instead of just various shades of grey?? wtf the fuck

2. One OC will protect you, and the others will try to kill you. Which OC would you pick to be your defender?

my gut instinct is to go with mikiel purely on the basis of raw power, but since miki is miki ill inevitably end up accidentally pissing him off in some way and then also getting killed lmao (or just becoming collateral damage since his psiionics arent exactly the best at precision attacks)

otherwise id say probably either daimon or shirei since theyre both highly skilled in combat while also being the type who would do everything in their power to protect someone. but between them i think id pick dai just because he’d be more fun to chat to / hang out with during the downtimes between Everyone Trying To Kill Me, even tho shirei is probs the technically better option

or id just go w. sigrun, because literally no one would be willing to fight them on their home turf and i get to hang out with penguins as a bonus lmao

but while ive been traveling ive been thinking about updating some older troll designs a bit, mainly just giving some more variety to my seadweller’s fins. theyre somewhat inspired by their lusus’ fins(/flippers in the case of sigrun), but still keeping the usual style i draw seadweller fins 

since i didnt want to take my copics with me im a bit short on colour pens rn, so siggy’s looking more landdweller indigo/purple than the seadweller purple/tyrian theyre supposed to be
