@siilverlight said: The white hound sets down a fish at the hero's feet. A gift. A 'Thank You' for the fish he had caught and presented to her previously. She had been observing him. A good boy. Yes, he was a good boy.
For a while, the hero could only stare at the fish placed before him, sapphires growing wide with CONFUSION as his gaze shifted to and from the Wolf and the offering. Did they... want him to do something with it? Or were they, perhaps, offering it to him as a gift--
Just as he had offered them before. That... that makes SENSE !!
“O-Oh! Wow !!” He was stricken dumb, having not expected such a TURN of events. “I... Th-thank you! It’s such a big fish!” What else could he say? How did one properly thank a Wolf for a GIFT? Surely he couldn’t turn it down, either, for that would be just downright ungrateful! “Did you want to share it with me? I can cook it up real nicely!”
Because of course, he would offer to share with an ever so GRACIOUS gifter, his gift!

And so begins the mass sniffing and light paw taps

Roxas is trapped. On one side, Flare leans against him, slumbering after a rough day at the arcade. To the other side, Aries naps. He crashed from his sugar high. Ah, there would be no moving for the Nobody.
Between his sister and his nephew, the Nobody knew he was trapped. And unlike the two who were using him as a pillow, he was awake, currently just playing one of the little black and white games on his phone. Though he did attempt to carefully move, wanting to get Aries into a more comfortable space for a nap. As he’s shifting though, he gently nudged his sister in the side, though he didn’t intend to.
“I think you’re overreacting. It’s not the end of the world.”
Reno?
Overreact?
Never.
That being said though, it never hurt to have a little fun with people who thought otherwise. “What do you mean?! You’ve heard the shit they’re sayin’, right? How is it NOT the end?”
He was gaining on her! Curse those long legs of his! She skids around the corner and throws herself into the closest room, easing the door closed as quietly as possible. Darn! A dead end. Perhaps if she were to remain quiet and still, he would run right past her, allowing her the chance to escape. She presses her back against the wall, panting as she listens for his footsteps. She had one chance. Should she fail, she would be at his mercy. But was that entirely a bad thing? Still, she was armed.
she’s there one minute, gone the next! the hallway lay before him, desolate and eerily silent, as if she’d seemingly VANISHED into thin air with nary a sound. doors lined the walls, access to a number of various rooms just behind them – but, their purpose held little importance right now. what mattered was which one she had tucked herself away in, and how much time he had to LOOK before she weaseled her way to safety.
“ come out, flare, “ he says, menacingly, jostling the doorknob to every entryway he passed, but not actually opening any of them.
not even a crack.
She was so sure she'd taken cover before in time. And she prepares to take another shot, until... His voice. The sudden rolling of his chair. She lets out a shriek, bolting from her hiding place outside of his door. "No, no, no!" She laughs, turning 'round long enough to fire off another squirt or two. She must get away before he captures her. She could only imagine what form his revenge would take once caught. But where to hide? Seto knew this place inside and out. Was there any safe place?
did she FORGET who she had waged war against? likely the most COMPETITIVE man in the entire world, he IMMEDIATELY accepted the challenge of pursuing and catching her, as impressively lengthy legs carried him around the corner and down the hall towards her. “ coward! “ he jokingly barks, letting his own breath of laughter escape. when’s the last time he had THIS much fun? “ you can run, but you can’t HIDE, flare ;; you’re in MY territory. “
"We need to talk."
Everything sort of was running through that sticky filter again, so that none of his senses were right. His head felt like it was in a fishbowl with sounds being so distant, and with the tinges at the edges of his vision....At this point he was tired. There’s no point trusting his emotions, trusting his memories or his sense of touch, if the tight grip he has on the little X shaped pendant he had is any clue.
Still, Flare’s voice echos around the bubble that was his sense of hearing causing the Nobody to try and squirm away. He’s not real...Which meant that she was never real. Wasn’t one set of false memories enough? But then again....where did the false memories end... Photos didn’t prove anything, after all, there had been plenty of photos taken of him that weren’t real. Plenty of evidence, plenty of recordings of his life.
And really...he wanted to hold himself together...He did. But it’s exhausting and...Wouldn’t it just be easier to let himself dissipate? To let himself fade? At least that way his head’s not a constant mess.
Admist his frazzled state, it escaped the usually calm blond’s notice that he was scrunching himself up, trying to curl away from his sister as the hand gripping at the metal of his pendant tightened said grip. Too frazzled to even notice that said pendant breaks the skin, making white ooze against his palm. If it wasn’t for his dulled senses, the smell of heliatrope would make him sick. But...instead, he just shakes his head, hard enough that a little pop can be heard from the upper vertebra as Roxas kept trying to scrunch himself.
“G...Go..” Roxas’ voice is quiet, barely there over his sharp breaths but it’s the best he can manage. Honestly, he wouldn’t even be able to manage sign language in this state so the fact that he managed that one word is a bit...impressive.
