Note: If aren't going to participate in Pro-Palestine action, do not mention it!
For accountability:
This is how Magz plans support Palestine during Global Strike January 21 to 28.
Am going to put more Palestine posts in queue, with more focus.
Am going to not spend on anything during week, nor go out (rare anyway).
Am going to not publicly post our arts and promos (of art freelance work).
Am going to read and learn more on Palestine - as there still more can learn.
Am going to be even more visibly pro-Palestinian.
Am going to continue keeping up with what's happening in Gaza.
Am going to continue boycotting products and services on BDS' Boycott List, including not giving free social media promo and good impressions.
Am going to try learn Palestinian Arabic.
Am going to describe, transcribe, and alt text posts on Palestine when possible - to make it more accessible (Am Multiply Disabled).
Am going to share ways to help.
One of shorter checklist options:
Longer checklists:
But really just do *anything* that support and raise awareness *more*, learn, or contribute. Whatever can manage do n able sustain.
If wasn't able to prepare in time, can still participate for rest of week. Is not "all or nothing", don't have to give up. Keep Palestine in your thoughts and actions !

Hypermobile Sacro Iliac Joint
A hypermobile SIJ is an unsupported SIJ. This is usually a result of excessive tension/fixation of the opposite SIJ. The muscles that support the integrity of the SIJ are The Quadratus Lumborum and Glut Min Med and lateral branches of the Glut Max. They intersect by way of a fascial continuing and muscle kinetic chain sequence. There is a front and a back to the muscles that have shortened to cause this condition to persist. Today we’ll show just the back portion.
My client had been engaging some injections to stabilize her left SIJ. The muscle co-contractions across her hips as a result of years of living with this instability were a sufficient barrier to her ability to respond positively to this intervention. The PT thought that the issue was weakness in the right Glut Medius, but the greatest fixation was medial in the area of the origins of the external hip rotators.
Here in this video is a typical neuromuscular facilitation/inhibition pattern of the posterior muscles that are a major part of this persistent left SIJ instability.
The Glut Med was indeed inhibited but so was the left lateral stabilization. The primary ‘compensation’ muscle was the right Piriformis. But the intense fixation of the Rt Piriformis compensating for a weak Rt Erector Spinae muscle caused a persistence of the lateral instability of both SIJ’s.
From an NMR perspective one sees the reduction over a series of sessions of the volume of the imbalance. There are layers of muscles involved.
Both the Rt QL and Rt Piriformis were inhibiting the Rt SIJ
But once that issue was addressed, the Rt Piriformis was STILL inhibiting the Rt AND Lt lateral stabilization. The lack of lateral stability causes the medially anchored external rotators to respond first when using the hips. One cannot simply consciously eliminate the stored and saved motor strategies programming into the Cerebellum. This is where NeuroMuscular Reprogramming has a big part to play.
And after the low back and hip coordination there is the next necessary step: investigating the coordination dysfunctions between the right Hip Flexors and the left low back SIJ stability….
Rotated Lumbar Vertebrae Caused Intractable Problems
An older client who was in for their third NMR® treatment came in with a complaint about her right low back and hip, initially massively disorganized due to being hit by a car as a pedestrian and knocked down. She fell on her right sacrum. She's been in pain for 1 1/2 years with no relief no matter what she had tried. The origins of the lower external rotators were very painfully tight and the hip was in a constant clench.
The tight hip makes total sense from both the fall and the fact that the right lumbar erectors weren’t engaged. The hip grips to give some stability to the upper body since the erectors are not firing on that one side. This pattern is very common once the rotational reciprocal reciprocity of the Rotatores have been damaged.
The remainder of the problem visible today was strong pain at L3. Something was pulling L3 into a left rotation. With L3 rotated left the right Psoas was facilitated and the left one inhibited. They could not alternate in walking without blowing a fuse on the left. The more she walked the tighter the right Psoas would get.
The client was astonished to notice that when she thought about circling her spine to the left it was easy and circling to the right she could not do it. The circle was full of zigzags and blank spots. The QL at L3 was tight. Releasing the QL at L3 on the right enabled the lumbar spine to rotate in either direction. We reprogrammed the rotational movement of her L3 vertebrae also, after which we rebalanced her Psoas muscles with each other so they both worked reliably.
All of this disorganization was affecting her neck, which was similarly locked and painful and confused about how to move. She forgot to mention this at the beginning of the session. This illustrates how NMR works to solve coordination issues at the source and gives you a greater picture of how different issues in the body can result in pain elsewhere in the body, which once addressed leads to greater mobility and reduced pain with less work.
Over 100 international tattoo artists have come together to offer specific designs that aim to benefit mutual aid organizations in Palestine
Tattoos for Gaza: 100+ tattoo artists around the world will raise funds for Palestinians this weekend
Article date: May 2, 2024.
Article highlights:
Randa Jarrar and Ariana Bazlamit are Palestinian American activists living in the diaspora of their homeland. [...]
So, they started reaching out to their tattoo artist friends, and the Hibr project was born. Now, over 170 tattoo artists across the globe will be offering tattoos in support of Palestinians this weekend. [...]
The first organization they said they will be supporting is Ele Elna Elak, a student-led organization that was created in 2018 with the help of Gazan journalist Bisan Owda.
On a GoFundMe page, Ele Elna Elak said that its volunteers also raise funds to help families buy other staples like water, firewood, medicine, and clothes — all while trying to survive alongside their own families.
Bazlamit also said that funds from the Hibr project will be donated to mutual aid campaigns that support Gazans with aid or by paying evacuation fees. To expedite the process of fleeing the area, many families have created mutual aid funds or GoFundMe pages, which allow them to access donated funds more quickly than through the help of a registered nonprofit or NGO.
That being said, Bazlamit said that she and Jarrar will document every dollar raised and donated on their Instagram account to ensure transparency. The choice to donate to on-the-ground Palestinians comes after months of aid struggling to reach those who need it most.“It’s incredibly important to us that we instill confidence in our tattooers and clients alike. We have nothing to hide, so we plan to hide nothing,” Bazlamit said. “We are happy to share the receipts with the public, in hopes that we’re able to garner even more support for our people.”
The choice to donate to on-the-ground Palestinians comes after months of aid struggling to reach those who need it most. [...]
Originally, a single date — May 4 — had been set aside for the international fundraiser, but Jarrar and Bazlamit have now added two other specific dates for participating artists: June 1 and July 16.
Interested tattoo artists just have to submit a form to be part of the collective, which includes having their work shared on the Hibr Instagram account. (Continued in article)
On Juneteenth, one must remember how Haitian Revolution inspired revolt against slavery and against genocide across the Black / African diaspora.
To know what is possible for liberation, but instilled fear in the colonizing oppressors of what they could lose and oppressors being tricky and awful to maintain the status-quo.
June 19, 1865 - enslaved African Americans in Texas, United States "learned" of the Emancipation Proclamation. Of their freedom from slavery.
But this is slightly misleading propaganda. Many enslaved black Texans were aware, but weren't allowed their freedom. Taking to their own hands in much cases.
The tenacity and resilience of the Black diaspora should not be downplayed.
For the oppressor does not easily "give" true freedom away.
And the atrocities have been whitewashed in history to be more palatable or ignorant, even with ethnic cleansings and tortures.

Sudanese RSF fighters kill more than 40 people in Darfur camp
Article Date: August 12, 2025

Sudan’s paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) has attacked a famine-hit camp for displaced people in Darfur, killing at least 40 civilians, according to first responders.

It said more than 40 civilians were killed and at least 19 were wounded in the attack.
The rescue group said civilians were “killed either by stray bullets or direct executions” at the camp, located on the northern outskirts of el-Fasher, the last major city in Darfur still held by the Sudanese army.
The RSF has laid siege to el-Fasher, the capital of North Darfur state, since May 2024.
The local resistance committee, a pro-democracy volunteer group, confirmed the toll of at least 40 killed in Monday’s attack.
The group condemned what it called “horrific violations being committed against innocent, unarmed people”.

The war between Sudan’s army and the RSF has killed tens of thousands of people, displaced millions and created what the United Nations describes as the world’s largest displacement and hunger crisis.

Last year, famine was declared in three camps around el-Fasher, including Abu Shouk, and the UN warned it could spread to the city by May.
But data shortages have prevented an official declaration.
At a community kitchen in el-Fasher, organisers said some of the children and women they serve arrive there with swollen bellies, sunken eyes and signs of acute malnutrition, according to the AFP news agency.

We’re suffering’: People in Sudan’s el-Fasher eat animal fodder to survive
A deadly cholera outbreak adds to the misery in a region that has witnessed fighting between the army and the rebels.
Article Date: August 4, 2025
Article:
People in Sudan’s North Darfur region are forced to eat animal fodder to survive as the paramilitary Rapid Support Forces (RSF) continues to lay siege to el-Fasher – the last urban centre in the region under army control.
“We are suffering, world. We need humanitarian aid – food and medicine – whether by airdrop or by opening ground routes. We cannot survive in this condition,” Othman Angaro, from a displacement camp in el-Fasher, told Al Jazeera.
Angaro described how he and his family rely on livestock fodder known as ambaz, a type of animal feed made out of peanut shells.
Another woman, veterinarian Zulfa Al-Nour, told Al Jazeera that her family relies daily on a charity kitchen called “Matbakh Al-Khair” for a single meal, amid a total lack of external aid.
She called for urgent international intervention, including airdrops of humanitarian supplies, warning that even the ambaz fodder is nearly depleted.
The Integrated Food Security Phase Classification (IPC) last week warned about starvation in the el-Fasher region. Starvation has reached the most severe level on the United Nations-backed food security scale – ‘IPC Phase 5’, indicating full-blown famine – it said on Friday.
The two-month siege of el-Fasher has complicated aid efforts.
The RSF has blocked food supplies, and aid convoys trying to reach the city have been attacked, locals said. Prices for the goods smuggled into the region cost more than five times the national average.

Deaths due to the water-borne disease [Cholera] have risen to 191 in the region [Northern Darfur], which has witnessed months of fighting between Sudan’s army and the RSF, according to a government official.

'Our children are dying': Rare footage shows plight of civilians in besieged Sudan city
Article Date: August 14, 2025
Article highlights:
"Our children are dying before our eyes," one of them tells the BBC.
"We don't know what to do. They are innocent. They have nothing to do with the army or [its paramilitary rival] the Rapid Support Forces. Our suffering is worse than what you can imagine."
Food is so scarce in el-Fasher that prices have soared to the point where money that used to cover a week's worth of meals can now buy only one. International aid organisations have condemned the "calculated use of starvation as a weapon of war".
[...]
The medical charity Doctors Without Borders (MSF) on Thursday said Sudan is experiencing the worst cholera outbreak the country has seen in years, fuelled by the ongoing civil war. There have been nearly 100,000 cases and 2,470 deaths over the past year, it said, with the current epicentre near el-Fasher.
The paramilitaries tightened their 14-month blockade after losing control of the capital Khartoum earlier this year, and stepped up their battle for el-Fasher, the last foothold of the armed forces in Darfur. The fighting escalated this week into one of the most intense RSF attacks on the city yet.
[...]
At the Matbakh-al-Khair communal kitchen in el-Fasher late last month, volunteers turned ambaz into a porridge. This is the residue of peanuts after the oil has been extracted, normally fed to animals.
[...]
The UN has amplified its appeal for a humanitarian pause to allow food convoys into the city, with its Sudan envoy Sheldon Yett once more demanding this week that the warring sides observe their obligations under international law.
For context: The "conflict" is not actually just a civil war. The RSF is a militia backed by the UAE (United Arab Emirates). There are also other involvements from other countries, and other complications. But there is enough information to say this a proxy war of ethnic cleansing, mass displacement, sexual violence, bombing of hospitals, and manufactured starvation of the Sudanese disguised as internal conflict. It is genocide that has actively been ensuing for 2 years since at least April 2023, but denied by the UAE and RSF. Over 522,000 Sudanese children have died from the high level of famine and restriction of necessities. 1 in every 8 internally displaced person in the world is Sudanese, based on old statistics from January 2024. The current ratio is likely higher.
If this sounds familiar, it is because the oppressions and sufferings of the world have much in common, requiring solidarity to combat. The Sudanese and their dire plight necessitate attention and care. They are people ! Do not forget them !
