Chiharu The Royal-Imperial-Fun-Sun-Deity-Princess Quite the title, yes. Would say she livez up to it. She is a fun-loving deer friend and ironically for being high and mighty, Literally and theoretically speaking. She is very much down-to-earth. Chiharu being raised by her wet-nurse who is now a lady-in-waiting, Yuki, a crane who has worked hard to teach Chiharu and has read to her. (a water buffalo Yuki befriended provides the milk) She was then entrusted to raise Chiharu further and fit the position for lady-in-waiting. It isn't common for this to be but she was the exception and has worked hard to maintain it. Seeing how Yuki has cared for Chiharu and others despite their background. Haru wants to be like Yuki. Chiharu isn't really too close with her parents and only sees them for ceremonies or formal eventz. So, Chiharu's grateful to have Yuki. Who's like a mother she can look up to
And well, she's down-to-earth in the sense that the sun likes to be beam with rays of light that cover the lands surface. treating it well. The Sun takes care of the garden. Just like the garden she sneaks off to. She's usually being supervised or looked after the majority of the time. So, during dawn-hour when everyone is asleep more or less. she can be when sunrise happens and be amongst the garden peacefully.
My dad’s friend Jacopo used to have a pet deer and I’m jealous now.
CHESTER!
Gift art for a great friend of mine, @aquatic-batt. I honestly love how he's turned out, he looks sooo cute! :P
A sika deer pauses under blossom at Nara Park, Japan. The park, established in 1880, is home to many wild animals and plant species. Sika deer, a species native to East Asia and numbering more than 1,200, are among the symbols of the park and live among the sakura trees

Dandelions and daisies out the front and hemlock water-dropwort leaves at Lakeside Country Park yesterday and beautiful orangey summer plumage Black-tailed Godwit in flight over mud some of a great amount we got awesome views of and a view of the River Frome on a brilliant boat trips around Poole Harbour with Birds of Poole Harbour today. We'd not done a trip with them since 2024 and as ever it was a brilliant way to spend time outdoors in a good vantage point to see wildlife and so much of it with a knowledgeable and dedicated team onboard helping us all to see as much wildlife as possible and give fascinating and hopeful information on the charities' work and the nature and projects to help the natural world in the area. I am very thankful to them all for making this trip a memorable time which I had been looking forward to and was excellent.
My first Common Tern of the year, Sandwich Terns and Marsh Harriers seen and heard well stars for us for a second consecutive cracking wild Saturday, Greenshank, Bar-tailed Godwits and Sika Deers were other highlights on the boat trip. Yesterday Orange-tip and Speckled Wood butterflies, delightful views of beautifully singing Dunnock and Blackcap and cuckoo-pint and bluebells were other highlights.

In "Never-Ending Struggle," Kohei Nagira captured a sika deer carrying the severed head of a rival male. This deer won a fight over a female but didn't manage to untangle his antlers from his opponent's. A local fisherman says this deer dragged its rival's body for several days before finally tearing off its head. (Image credit: Kohei Nagira / Wildlife Photographer of the Year) via livescience.com
