Silas put his phone down in his lap after sending the text. He was currently sitting on a leg press machine with bunny ears on. He wasn't actually using it at the moment, but was content to simply sit and watch the rest of the men in the gym work out while he waited on the other boy to come and find him... That is if he didn't leave him on read again.
Alec had a horrible habit of reading messages, mentally telling himself he'll reply later when he has more time, and then completely forgetting and ignoring the senders. It had happened a few different times with Silas, his excitement bounding when he'd first receive a text mid shift so he'd sneak his phone to read it, but never remembered to respond back - he just hoped Silas hadn't taken that personally. For all he knew Silas was a busy man around the island, gorgeous as he was, he probably had men falling all over themselves just to be with him - certainly Alec couldn't compete with so many suitors.
This text though came at a prime time, he'd just gotten done with a client and was cleaning up before his next. He'd had a decent break in his schedule so he figured playing this little game that Silas had set up would at least be worth it to him. Before tucking his phone in his pants pocket he made sure to respond to the string of texts this time, a game on all he sent as he walked out from the locker rooms wearing a clean tank and shorts, thankful to not be a completely sweaty mess anymore when he found the other - which did take some time, he wouldn't lie, the place seemed more packed than usual (or maybe his anticipation just made it appear busier).
When the ears came in sight though, that gorgeous body that Alec knew all too well, he wasted no time in walking behind the other and covering his eyes from behind hoping that he hadn't been spotted. "Guess who?" He smirked, leaning in so that his lips were near the others ear, "i'll take that chocolate egg now."
