I stumbled upon these guys by accident I mistakenly took them for Silent Civillian, turns out they’re a bunch of local boys from down south here in Britain! They’ve already got some great accolades in their 13 year journey, winning competitions and awards which is pretty impressive. Now I will not even attempt to hide my past obsession with Symphonic styled bands or power-metal, I’ve got it under control now I promise… Firewind, Dragonforce, Dream Evil, Stratovarius… ok anyway I’m looking forward to picking this apart and stacking it up against the likes of the best hoping a for a win in Her Majesty's kingdom.
Got to say I wasn’t expecting this breed when I came across these guys, the way they fuse those electronic elements in was beautiful, rather than using gritty style keys they use a very atmospheric flow instead which with the type of music they play is surreal. My favourites here are “Vortex” which is irresistibly catchy, “Voices” and “Rob Rodda” which have that clean tone overlaying hard metal just gives the body pins and needles. To be honest near enough all of the tracks on here are well crafted and extremely enjoyable, chalk one up for Britain baby!
A very happy and unexpected find in the ocean of albums for me, picked up by accident and another band added to the watch list. Such a satisfying feeling when that happens! Either way I’m on the lookout for your dates now they need to keep up that distinctive perspective they have there.
