2026 Derby portraits are in progress

I'm back to oil paint for this year and honestly haven't decided what I want to do with the backgrounds so they're all just whatever flat color I picked for the base.

Next on deck to paint are Wonder Dean & Further Ado. Once I've got them all finished, I'll go back and add in backgrounds and get high-res scans.

Silent Tactic scratches from the Preakness before they even do the draw-his bruised foot isn't back to 100% which is massively disappointing. But Incredibolt is now going. And I guess the Baffert horse from the Pat Day isn't going afterall either (oh frickin well) so it's going to be an interesting Preakness I think. Still not sure what to make of Napoleon Solo-mostly the distance to me is a big fat question, but Liam's Map wasn't supposed to stay the Whitney distance either oh wait....--but since I have no intention of wasting another bet on him this time no doubt he'll win lol
