Man do I miss the old days of Tumblr where I could have posted this image in its entirety.

She was given freedom to choose a scene with Raphael and Immogene from Smooth Criminals. A story that @forerunnertracer and I will continue one day.

@silentturtle ALWAYS captures the feeling in the moment. I love love love the little bubbles over Immogene’s head. She’s…erm…lost in what Raphael is showing her. Making her feel how it’s supposed to be.

Everything from Immogene’s tattoos (the detail!!!), the silk robe, her clenched fists to Raphael’s shiny ass…all depict an incredible scene between the two.

Thank you, both of you for this. It made me smile and tempted me to start writing again.

You can feel them flirting. I’m chuckling at the look on the Brutes face. He’s probably telling her where else she could put those lips. But, when he passes a mirror later...he’ll understand the amusement he saw glittering in her eyes. *chuckles*

It’s these little details that are added that really shows the relationship and chemistry between these two.

Can we talk about how BIG @room-of-torture Raphael is? The sound that left my lips when I saw this was something very appreciative. How about how Immogene is looking at him? It’s a combination of tenderness and tease. The slight cock of her head shows her interest in him, while those pouty lips are ready. Are they ready for him to kiss her? Always. Are they ready to spout off a comeback? Equally always.

Excuse me while I Awwww! again over this one! The expressions. Way to make my heart melt @silentturtle ❤️

Here, the look of adoration between them is palatable. And those thiiiiick shoulders....mmmph and relaxed as he’s sitting beside her. I love how I feel like for this moment his guard is down...but then you see his lips. There, just under the surface is that smirk. Yes, it’s softer but it’s still there.

Immogene loves this behemoths jaw. Feeling that hard edge beneath her hands is reassuring for her. It’s intimate, it’s solid...and if he leans into it...that is where you are going to see the soft side of this woman jump to the surface.

Such a simple gesture has been turned into something that has made me fall in love with this pairing all over again.
