I wanted to celebrate the end of OCtober a little differently than I usually do this year!(By making anything for the end at all). This was originally going to be one big picture but I could not nicely fit all of them without obscuring too much and I wanted to show the monster variants off well!

But thanks to those who showed support during this month, though I do it every year it's appreciated!

A friend of mine asked about SCP and OCs over discord, specifically their designation, and said I had to do all of them. Though I did give the answer there, I decided I should probably compile it here and share it. Though after the fact I've been on tumblr to see that's been passed around a little with other people so maybe that's where they got it from. ANYWAY. This is going to be reaaaaaally long, additionally with the designations being explained as things go on as well as the process of elimination. So I'll be putting it under the cut here so it doesn't get too long.

So there's a lot of designations in SCPs and such, most of what you'll normally have to worry about is Safe, Euclid and Keter, there ARE secondary classes. By default any living being is at minimum Euclid because you cannot leave them in a room/box indefinitely with them not making decisions that you may not be able to predict/potentially dying from starvation and other things.

Secondary classes are Different and VERY hard to get things into. Because their containment usually is "literally physically impossible to keep their anomalous effects in a room" due to their nature. Either they are literally too big to fit in a containment zone, in outer space, or they are a phenomena. As an example of a phenomena, it would be the concept of flame itself as it would not be able to be contained in any way shape or form, and thus all you can do is keep an eye on it or take the afflicted.

So most of mine i know for sure would be in primary designation with three potential exceptions. Additionally none of mine could be neutralized, as that would be removing the anomalous affects from them, which in this case is flame itself. which could be done by killing them or other sorts of things but the foundations primary goals are: secure contain protect.

They do not do this on purpose unless they MUST and in most cases it would not be a must. Additionally even if some of them are not doing anything at the moment and effects of their existence is still happening, they still count as anomalous so people like Kira. She needs to be elaborated on by a LOT.

Note: Thaumiel is a very very tricky classification that I'll be avoiding. There has been cases where one SCP has been used to contain others, but in most cases this has to be determined to not be a threat to the thaumiel scp(as in will not result in their destruction) and they need to be a reliable way to keep the designated SCP IN the facility. As such while OCs like Osmio and Mercurio are very attached to each other and would search each other out, neither would really PREVENT the other from escaping after, and would end up taken by the other out. Thus is NOT a reliable way of keeping them in the facility. Because of this i cannot safely say any of mine would count unless they'd actively FIGHT leaving as well.

Next, Keter and Euclid are not determined by danger but how likely they are to escape and how hard to contain they are. it's ALL about containment.

So while I may place other OCs in Keter Vs Euclid, that's not because they're less dangerous than the others(some of the Keter ones are actually weaker than the others it's just the want to escape and the means they're able to)

Either way by looking over, here's the quick run down of what's going on:

Euclid: 6 designated - Bianco, Caladrius, Ragno, Silen, Smilodonte, and Vittorio

Keter: 4 designated - Mercurio, Osmio, Nascosta, Gambetto

Potential Apollyon(Otherwise Keter): Kira

Uncontained(Potential Archon[Otherwise Keter]): Presagio

Explained: Tyr

Now I'll go more in depth of each specific OC by group.

Bianco - He is Euclid because he can very much be reasoned with to stay contained, he overall has qualms with fighting people for no reason, and generally refuses to do so unless they return with force. Due the SCP facility giving the SCPs what they want for good behaviour and being able to trust them(or at least the closest thing of trust) He would be able to be comfortable and wouldn't likely care too much after some time. Especially since they allow human scps to wander after some time as long as it's within the facility.

Caladrius - Though confident and strong, he only is confident in the Archives. The Facility is NOT the Archives, so it becomes cowardice and avoidance, he would pose little threat to escaping.

Ragno - As much as he would hold contempt for it, he doesn't care all that much. The man has depression already because of the position he is in, he wouldn't care enough to go back. Especially if he knows his family is safe. Which the facility would be able to give him proof of. He figures they can handle themselves better without him.

Silen - He minds his own fucking business constantly, you literally just place him anywhere and he keeps to himself. He pretty much just self contains but usually accidentally sneaks out not knowing that he's not supposed to leave at this time.

Smilodonte - He mostly fights due to his loyalty and since he can be reasoned with it shouldn't be hard for them to convince him that he needs to stay. He's pretty amicable so it's not hard, though he'd be a little fucking mad about the kidnapping.

Vittorio - He just wants to live a comfortable life, and boy is that pretty easy when you have an entire facility taking care of your needs. Sure there's chaos on the outside of your room on occasion, but what do you care? He never really had any people to be attached to, so he can make them here instead. The foundation staff have to deal with his flirting.

Mercurio - She is extremely difficult to contain mostly due to Osmio's experimentation on the both of them making her extremely resistant to being knocked out among other things. She has an intense amount of strength meaning containing her through normal means is difficult as she can blow a hole through a thick metal wall no problem. With her high aggression she would be very hard to keep in place and would try to escape very OFTEN. Sometimes succeeding for short periods.

Osmio - Much like his sister, He has all of the above, however him being a bit more fair tempered means he will not use force to escape unless required to. He will tamper with electronics and anything that he can see to free himself, and worse his ability to use many different flames at the same strength makes the above worse when he resorts to it. He tries to escape often, but at a certain point it becomes a game.

Nascosta - An illusionist who's main power is stealing people's faces and using her ability to analyze a person so very perfectly, that she'll be able to mimic them within a few hours of taking to them. Add to the fact they can just become invisible among other Illusionary tricks, it makes keeping track of him incredibly difficult and escapes extremely common. Fortunately it's mostly to fuck with staff but still.

Gambetto - Gambetto is a master thief and escape artist. Put him in any container and when he feels like it he'll be out in an hour or less. Though he himself is very friendly and chill, she hates staying in one place, especially one that she doesn't consider her home. So despite all that she is constantly being found escaped somewhere that she shouldn't be. They do not know how he does this.

Kira(potentially) - While her main body can technically be contained, her flame which she uses to essentially parasitize people into becoming her mindless monster puppets is practically impossible to contain. It can spread from host to host in a matter of quick little instances, and she does not even physically need to be there to do so. The SCP foundation taking her in would just be moving her main body from one container to another, as if you only counted her main body, she would be self containing as she never leaves her base for anything. She can count as a world ending threat as her main goal is to completely take over the human race and then turn everyone into monsters to ascend them from beyond human limitations. It is also not helped by her ability to essentially warp reality around her should she have enough flame just lets her leave any containment created for her.

I will also place Archon here, due to it forcing the foundation to give up

Presagio(Uncontained for sure, may be Archon after) - It is... Essentially unstoppable. As it has no specific weaknesses, excessively high regeneration to nigh immortality, extreme strength and speed, as well as damn elusive naturally. Capturing it is by all practical means, is impossible. Any containment you put it in may as well be a slight detour in its route for Presagio, and while not openly hostile unless you are back, it is simply not going to stay in place. Though they would not deem it 'best left uncontained' due to how it interferes with the world, which is why i was on the fence about saying it is currently an Archon.

Tyr - Well you see, he's just a man. Like as fucking terrifying as he can be, he's just some fucking guy. He doesn't have flame, sure he's pretty damn strong but that's because he trained himself to be, sure he feels otherworldly at times but once again that is practiced. This is just a man with a hand missing, gigantism and fangs. All of which can be explained by naturally occurring processes and thus he can't actually be designated as an SCP. So they'd just take him in thinking he was one because of greatly exaggerated reports, realize he's normal and make him a D class. (Note he fucking loves this, life and death and hyper specific rules he needs to follow? fuck yes.)

OCtober challenge Day 25 - Disappointment

Nas wasn't expecting any visitors, who the fuck would really visit her anyway? He made an active effort to be a bastard to just about anyone who actually tried to spend time with him. Very few people could handle being around them at all.

But, they especially weren't expecting Silen to show up. They only sighed upon seeing him and shifted with a bit of difficulty to sit up. They wish they could used their illusions for their body right now but told that it won't heal right if she just covers herself with illusions and calls it a day she needed to keep their actual form visible. Looking to him he can't help but to say.

"Sorry for the disappointment that you didn't kill me, I'm sure you'll get me next time."

The one thing that Nas hates about Silen, is there is little to no body language to read, and there is no emotions to see because of that mask. but there's eventually a tired sigh.

"No, that's not why I'm here. You fucked up, really badly here. But I want to offer you another chance, as we'll be coworkers like it or not."

"Peh, what do you think you have to?"

"I know I don't have to, I'm not obligated to. Whether you take my offer or not, that is no skin off my back. Just stop your bullshit, and I won't have to put you 6 feet under."

"How encouraging Rotto. We'll see what happens."

Nas and Silen have a talk. Silen absolutely has no reason to give Nas another chance other than he wants to here. He wants to be able to have a team, and he will try to force that even if he himself doesn't like the other person. Because being as unnoticed with the exception of when he killed when he shouldn't... Well it was very lonely.

So unfortunately for him, the only way he could manage to combat it was if he's stuck with someone who has no choice but to learn him. So he's trying to make some form of peace with Nascosta.

Though Nas unused to this kind of treatment and vastly aware what she was doing was horrible even if she enjoyed it. Isn't really having it, making it an awkward standstill.

OCtober challenge Day 23 - Drill

One would think that he's be happy to gain this promotion. After all he's aware that Vittorio is an executive that is far easier to deal with than any of the others. The issue was, the others when it was announced made sure to drill it into his head that it was in fact because of how horribly hard he himself is to work with.

This also could be said of his team mate Nascosta. She was using the fact that she knew what he actually looked like as blackmail. Forcing him more under her thumb, allowing her to do as she wants to him mostly.

Mostly being the key word, due to him finally growing tired with this he finally snapped, giving her rather grievous injuries and gaining some himself currently making him unable to work. He looked over his report on his own current status reading the estimation still being over a week, and sighed.

Why couldn't this had been a good thing?

Silen joining the scrap team is generally having a horrible time because his team mate wore down on his patience and then reaped exactly what would have been earned normally on this.

Nas wanted to have superiority and did so pushing the storm flame more and more until finding something about how Silen actually uses his flames. He's one of the few flame users who make an almost invisible aura of flame, much like Zakuro and Squalo did.

Silen then takes this aura and makes it powerful enough to fully consume any flame lit within it, and weakens any target inside. It forces his enemy to fight on his level with no flame and hope they can physically overpower him. Nas while not fully relying on her flame, being weakened by the aura makes it pretty hard for him to fight back against Silen.

OCtober challenge Day 31 - Protection

Vittorio took a few attempts to even get silen to agree to come out in the first place. After all the mask was a difficult thing for them to let go. But assured that it was only going to be Vittorio and Nas, both people who had already seen his face, as well as the fact that there was no way in hell that anyone was going to realize it was him given what his face looks like under that.

He did bring that mask as he did still have to have that form of protection of identity when he leaves and returns to the Varia headquarters, but going out drinking seemed to have better dividends than Vittorio had expected.

Nascosta certainly failed in making Vittorio regret inviting her out however. Turns out they're a very sleepy drunk and while he could certainly hold his drinks Vittorio watched as he slowly melted more and more. Silen of course could manage more than her, though was also better at pacing himself, found this just as amusing. Even going so far as to tease them just a bit.

"I think you've had more than enough now."

"Nooo... let me driiiink. 'm fine..." Nas reaches for a bottle that had been placed just out of her reach by Silen.

"I mean it is getting late, we better head back. Though I think Nascosta is about to have one hell of a hangover in the morning."

"Don't worry I've got this." Silen grabs Nas who is still focused on her previous task, before he gets dragged a bit too far and begins to try and wriggle out of Silen's arms. Vittorio couldn't help but to laugh at this.

"My, and you said you didn't want to come. Well let me help and put your mask on your since your hands are plenty full."

and for these three, a new beginning of a friendship. Of course it'll take some work to actually get there, but clearly it's not impossible for them to get along. Which gives Vittorio and Silen some hope in the prospect.

Vittorio doesn't drink but always finds watching his allies do so amusing especially when they actually get wasted since they always act a little funny so he never really feels awkward as the only person not drinking. Even when the others may occasionally prod them to.

Nas on the other hand, can handle her drinks but has such shit pacing of them, that it doesn't actually take long for him to have actually gotten himself way past gone. Worse he forgets to drink water or anything really to help with the future hangover so this bitch is going to be dying.

OCtober challenge Day 11 - Habit

After a long day of work, Silenziatore went to his room, locked the door and slowly, but carefully took off his mask. Once it was properly off, he exhaled a slow sigh. A bit of relief, as it was warm and sweaty under it so this was much needed.

It had become a habit, just waiting till the day ended and then tending to his face so the mask didn't end up giving him sores for wearing it as long as he did. It felt like more of his face than the actual skin that he had to carefully massage moisturizer into and tend to at the end of the day.

He only originally chose to wear it to be more intimidating as his actual face he had was far too gentle looking for the job he was doing. The most aggressive he ever looked even when trying to be, ended up just looking like an annoyed pout.

The only time he took it off now was in his room, knowing that no one would ever see under it. Aware that once you do see his face, it's rather hard to not imagine it under the mask. So, only his boss actually knew his face done for security purposes. As he finished his work on his skin, he almost put the mask back on before remembering he couldn't sleep with it on. It really had become his real face.

now you can see why Silen actually wears this mask, more to keep himself scary than anything else. but it has had interesting consequences of him feeling that the mask was how he is more than his real face, only caring for it because otherwise it would hurt.

also the reason why security purposes are mentioned is because I'm pretty sure joining something as a faceless entity to everyone is a big nono when there's mist users and people who could just join who are actually enemies doing so. so xanxus just knows what everyone looks like. just in case.

OCtober challenge Day 27 - Hardware

Vittorio was so very excited to present the new gear to Nascosta and Silen. It took a little bit of pushing to actually get either ready. One because Nascosta was absolutely certain she didn't need the 'hardware upgrade' adding as she believed they were being treated like robots that needed new parts for no particular reason, especially because she was an illusionist. The very same problem he had in fact had with their teacher Mammon when giving the same upgrade. But telling her that Mammon had accepted it didn't relaly help but she eventually relented with a.

"Well at least it looks cool I guess so you managed to get that right, Puttana."

Right her little nickname for him. Well, she wasn't wrong to call him that and admittedly they take a little pride in being a slut, so they haven't tried to really stop what should be an insult. As Nas gets hers on Vittorio watches Silen who is staring at the new mask.

"I know you prefer your face covered, so I tried to create one that would be suitable."

"Well that's nice... But I still have to take off my current one."

Ah, right. and there's no way to convince Nas to be respectful of not looking-

"Rotto I already know you look like a baby under there, if you don't trust Puttana more than me, well really you're a dumbass. I think he's the only person here who won't backstab another."

What a person. Saying praises while at the same time calling him that. Vittorio really doesn't know if she likes him or not. But this seems to manage to convince Silen to take off his mask. As Nas clicked on their final arm piece Silen ended up only in awe of the new mask on his face.

He didn't switch it out often did he? Vittorio upon seeing his face had understood almost immediately why even if it was a brief look. But he really needs some other masks.

Finally getting all three of them in the same room, they prepare to go on their first little outing. Silen ends up taking the longest to get ready just because of that little pause of needing to convince himself to change out his mask after sudden dropping that his new combat uniform would have a change.

Nas does actually respect vittorio in some way. He's one of the few executives that Nascosta doesn't outright hate. However they do call him names more out of habit than hatred. Which understandably confuses Vittorio, thankfully he's not a very hot headed guy.

Vittorio is planning to talk things out with her knowing very well that Silen and him are on a really bad page thanks to what he had done.
