Surprising to none, Gavin didn’t even show a single edge of confusion in waking up with his head rested against an obviously human form. The feeling of fingers threading through his locks was just far too soothing for him to even bother opening his eyes for the longest moment—barely had him batting an eyelid when he finally peeked one to check who’d decided to humour him in his nap.
…Burnie, huh? Not who he’d expected, but he wasn’t exactly shocked. Pleased about it, even. Not often he found himself like this with Burnie after all. He’d happily make the most of it.
Still, all the Brit did after his quick little peek was stretch out himself to loosen his limbs again; before curling back up comfortably and nuzzling his cheek against the other’s lap. No idea whether he’d actually fallen asleep against Burnie like this or not, but he didn’t mind this one bit. It was nice, actually. He could easily fall back asleep like this.
It wasn’t much of a surprise when Burnie had found the younger male napping in the office, honestly he though of it as a regular occurrence now and obviously no one cared so why should he? Hell they had bunk beds in the office so why would sleeping bother anyone?
The elder had taken a seat next to the sleeping male, his laptop already on the table before him so he saw no reason to move. It was when Gavin had decided to move closer that Burnie glanced to him, watching for a moment before simply snorting in amusement. Even sleepy he liked to cuddle. Typical.
It continued like that, Gavin inching closer and Burnie working until the male practically slid down his side into his lap. Burnie didn’t think much of it and simply started to run his fingers through Gavin’s hair idly. When the other woke up he didn’t bother to look away from his laptop screen or stop the gentle action of fingers through hair. Instead he allowed a small smile to pull over his lips and a small huff of a chuckle to escape.
