Whenever I bake, it's usually gingersnaps. This one recipe my dad has that I memorize. It tastes and smells so good and it's so comforting and my family loves it. I'll see my brother in the kitchen taking a stack of them back to his room... that is, if I didn't eat them all already! I love memorizing recipes, it makes me feel so special haha
That’s awesome! Gingersnaps are actually one of those cookies I haven’t tried making yet. Maybe someday soon! Ginger smells pretty amazing and has some other like, healing qualities to it that are totally over my head, so maybe I should look into it.
If you live on the East coast tomorrow might be a good day to make some of those anyway ;)

omg i saw your post on 10 reasons why baking is good for stress and i actually never noticed until now how when i'm in a crappy mood i bake things. it always makes me feel so much better and then i get to eat the stuff after i bake them! :D
Truth! I love baking for that, but I’m not so much in it to eat it, I’m in it to watch other people eat it. I find happiness in others, but I can’t say that I don’t enjoy cookie dough every now and again ;)
