Disused storage tanks and silos have been incorporated into a recreational area on the Auckland waterfront. We went for a wander there on on foggy Saturday morning, and were surprised by the large number of people there despite the dreary winter conditions. As the mist thinned out the light on the stainless steel tanks was magical.
