Graduate Journal

Hey there! I wanted to let you know that I’ll be making a separate tumblr blog to serve as a journal to document my graduate school experience. My professors encouraged all of the students to write…not only as a means to process our thoughts, but to have a visible record of our progress and growth. :)

You’re welcome to read it if you want, whenever I make it, but it will be mostly journal entries (a loooot of writing). I’ll make another post with the link whenever I make it.

Late Night Thoughts

[8/17/16]

On Monday, it all starts over: new location, new apartment, new clothes, new school, new major, new faces -- it’ll all be different. I’ll be flying out of the state I’ve always known and into one I’ve never been in before.

Yes, part of me is uncertain; there is always that dull voice in the back of my mind that wonders if this will all work out. But so much of me is rejoicing, like a person who has waited for dawn seeing the first hints of the sky changing after a long, hard night.

I’m praying this all works out.
