This is a fantastic, easy to understand example of the manifestations of what happens when departments within an organization silo themselves from one another.
Often times the root causes we identify are:
1) Poorly communicated Mission, Vision, and Values
2) Closed or ineffective lines of communication between departments
3) Lack of self-confidence in the necessary parties within the organization
Do the results of these items negatively impact your organization? How many customers are "receiving the wrong sandwich?" How many of your associates know about problems but are unwilling to bring them to attention for fear of rocking the boat? And the big question, how much is it costing the organization?
Yeah, we can help with that.
