thinking incoherent thoughts about faulkner’s older siblings………………….. something about his older brother leaving him behind, making a promise to come back for him and not fulfilling it, and faulkner thinking that it has to be because of the awful thing he did (even though it wasn’t the case as eddie later says)

this contrasting with carpenter, his older sister not tied to him by blood, in season 2 finale going back to him just to tell him she loves him and him ending up forcing her to leave (more like flee) and this time knowing for sure that it’s very much his fault— and then she still comes back for him again in season 3 finale!! even after everything he’s done!! and even when literally every single other person around him has fled from him making him the last thing left behind in flooding ruins!! she still came back and wanted to leave together with him!! (he was just a bit too late when he finally decided to follow her……………)
